    Punjabi Ghazal
    by mazHur

    Nairay nairay kion nahi aanday
    darday kion ho japphi paanday!

    siyaal diyaan raataan nikyaan nein
    muk na jaawun gal mukaanday!

    rabba ay dil kion ditta see
    deyr nahi lagdi jinhoon gawaanday!

    udeekday udeekday shamaan hoiyaan
    ronday na taan hoar ki ganday!

    gayee jawaanee hun kee karyay
    royiyay pityay puniyay paanday!

    matyaar koi jay lab jaandi
    Naal ohday assi peengaan paanday!

    kujh dassaaan gay kujh puchhaan gay
    milay kadi jay aanday jaanday!

    Shayr mere na sab toe vadhiya
    baqi saaray leer paranday!

    Oh, no, you're not This poem is in the language of the Sikhs and I thought why not post it for Sikh member on this forum something in their mother tongue for a change!!

    Hi mazhur! I understood your ghazal partially. Don't you think it would be better to post a translation along with the original punjabi one?
