yes, it helps if you're stressed. Google it and find out more. You may also want to try melatonin. Alcohol is really bad for sleep problems, it just exasperates the problem as it will disrupt your sleep and cause you to wake up a lot though the night. People that are heavy drinkers usually always have sleep issues.I'm not suggesting you are a heavy drinker but think you need to find another solution to help you sleep.

I do tend to drink too much, however I am just starting a 150 day break until my new niece/nephew is born. The thing that I find does help oddly enough is coffee.
