Is God the ultimate bigot?

Is God the ultimate bigot?
No, but the people who claimed to speak for him inserted their own bigotries.
People are their own gods.
I remember a quote from you from a different thread:
You now want to know why God hates so much and whether God is the ultimate bigot.
I didn't think you even believed in God, but surely you do believe in yourself. What God is bothering you?
The comment that I hated all people was made flippantly. I think in answer to a charge of antisemitism if I remember right.
In answer to your new question, God doesn't bother me - people do.
Gods are bigots since there are too many gods, and they warring. Gods created in men's images and natures have a lot of bigotry in their behavior, for the Gods we have invented do not rise above and beyond our own images and conceptions.
If you read scriptures, whether Hindu or Biblical or any other you will find your gods constricted into your own prejudices.
Is there something called Universal God? And that God can rise above your personal God's statures
Rather like the Government causing dissension amongst the unions really but then I'm sure the hue and cry over a universal union would be just as loud. You can't have it both ways.
The Universal God is not a personal God like any Hindu or Biblical or Islamic Gods. It is beyond worldly attributes and has little to do with the ones we associate with any worldly phenomena or scriptural descriptions.
It is you and me and the rest of the world threaded by that spirit and this is not a material or anything; it is sheer consciousnesses manifest through our consciousness. This state is beyond the attributes like Good or Bad, the sacred and the profane. God is just word and I am not talking about it.I am talking about the eternal truth beyond science and religion. This is a very subtle issue I have yet to discover for myself
Death is the end. I cannot say that I am looking forward to it but then I cannot say that I am not.
Death is the end or beginning is yet to be explored. You cannot say what death is and your conclusion is based on what medical science has said and science is still in its infancy when it comes to explaining some of the profound truths.
Death is an unknown domain and you do not the zone you will visit after it.
Do not confuse yourself with the nonsense you have inherited in society through education or learning from your near and dear ones.
Go beyond these delimiting parameters to understand your limitless powers.
I know nothing but that I will die.
My friend, I out of humility want to say you do not know, neither I do, you will die for you do not know your state after death. Maybe death is a short respite or not. We will have yet to explore. I do not want to borrow religious diction or the words of wisdom by anybody else.
I understand your predicament, and do not want to brag about mine. I just want to conclude.
I too wish to conclude but I will wait for death.
Space is infinite, man is not.
Because of language. Language has taught humans to think that finality and consequence are universal rules, because they are logically sound in a semanthic way. In truth, there is are no real ends, as your identity isn't even consistent with the length of your life, your cells die every day, in many ways you're long dead.
What is wrong with hate?? Critics who use a christian quality(love) to attack a christian god are morons. God loves the good ones and the strong ones. The unbeliever deserves a wretched life. That's how nature works.
Howdy Hyperbore, how refreshing to have an unbiased well thought out critique on the jungle and a thoroughly scientific view of the mechanics of the natural world. I have brought along someone who is totally in tune with your unarguable and thoroughly reasonable point of view:
He would speak for himself but it is well past his bedtime:

Those kids know more about religion than most posters here. Christian faith is degenerate nowdays. I feel sorry for this kind of ignorance. There are a great number of atheist fools and fake-christians. Priest Zangief is a good example:

Hi Griffith,
Degenerate in what sense?
You've also said in another thread that Kafka was degenerate (or, to quote you accurately, 'a degenerated moron') - so I was wondering whether these were two instances of the same degeneration, or separate and unrelated examples of different types of degeneration.
(Incidentally, I notice you visit here only once a year, like Santa Claus, so if I've missed getting your attention this trip, I'm happy to wait until you next come down the LitNet chimney.)
The Christian faith is degenerate because almost Christians don't understand who really was Christ and they establish a commercial relationship with god. Take the pope for instance, this degenerate moron have been rejecting the entire history of the Catholic Church just to be politically correct. If i was the Emperor of Europe the first thing i would do is hang the traitor.
Kafka is degenerate just because he is an idiot without any talent. A overhyped jew. There are big differences here.
Actually, the Catholic Church is probably less corrupt now than it has been for a thousand years. I mean, I'm anti-Roman (for reasons that have nothing at all do to with atheism), but everything that's come to the surface recently has been, though awful, only a fraction of what was institutionally awful in the establised church since before Chaucer.
I'm not sure that degenerate means talentless. I mean, the word has to have some meaning we all agree on, and that's not it.
On the other hand, you can't fault Kafka's grammar and syntax, which is more than can be said for some gentiles who spring to mind.

The ghost of Yeats resounds:
The Four Ages of Man - W.B. Yeats
He with body waged a fight,
But body won; it walks upright.
Then he struggled with his heart;
Innocence and peace depart.
Then he struggled with the mind;
His proud heart he left behind.
Now his wars on God begin;
At stroke of midnight God shall win.
Damn, that's a good question. If the Bible is to be believed then the SOB sure as hell is the ultimate bigot. He does claim to be a jealous and vengeful god who ''visits iniquity upon the third and fourth generations'' of those who despise his wicked ways. Not a very forgiving or lovable bastard, is he?
This is funny. Why God should hate anybody. Men hate in the name of God, fight and kill one another. Men created religions, Gods, heavens, and so many stories abounding around them and accuse Gods of hating to defend themselves. God is above and beyond all these trashes. Men are warring taking God to the front. This is really ridiculous.
This world is a really funny place to live in with a funny people inventing funny things and rendering them an air of funniness and reveling in them.
Gods are neutral and will be always in the background. Men keep themselves too much in the foreground and color up God with these things
As long as we believe that Bible (or any other holy book of any religion) is divinely inspired, we have to believe that God is hating and vengeful.
Show me where God hates and ill show you where God loves. The approprite question is why does God LOVE so much. I think you have serious context issues. As do most "religious people" they take a single verse out of a chapter and twist it to mean what they want it to. But seriously. give me examples of Gods "Hate" and I will show you his love in them.
