Mrs Dalloways birthday thread reminded me that i wanted to ask this question of litnet a while ago but forgot!
So here is the important question....
Who would you rather sweep you off your feet. Prince Charming, or a Knight in shining armour?
Not sure... I like both. Can it be a charming knight in shining armor who happens to be a prince? :D I found mine anyway so yeah. XD
Hooray for my constant indecisiveness!
Can we choose both? P.C is in touch with our feelings and holds us when we cry. The knight rescues us and solves our problems; but may not be as big on hygiene and spends alot of time out with the boys:D
I chose Prince Charming:D
The Knight! Seriously, armors should become fashionable again...
Night in Shining Armor - I have been waiting for him to come and sweep me off my feet, but alas, nothing...
Seriously, we need a more modern mythology.
I assume the question is intended for women? I just can't bring myself to answer this one. :D
The Knight. I equate 'Knight in Shining Armour' with being a smelly, Boy's Boy sort of guy, who wants to eat some fried chicken, drink beer and play video games. I equate Prince Charming with being sort of suave, two-faced, and spoiled rotten, the jock sort of type, with too-white teeth and a penchance for big titted blond girls.
^^Virgil, I expect an answer and explanation for said answer from you, on my desk by Monday! 1000 words!
...and a penchance for big titted blond girls.
And what, pray tell, is wrong with big-titted blond girls, eh?:brow:
Ummm.... my wife's standing behind me, isn't she? I meant "brunette girls", dear, seriously... ow!
I'll go for the frog :)
maybe the knight....depends on the finish of his armor, AND absolutely no blood stains!
Haha! This question is worse than the hen-and-egg question... I find it impossible to choose...as I always do when concerning men...
Can I have a combination of the two or something in the middle??
Neither. I prefer a man who will walk arm in arm with me as an equal partner.
Nothing less than a Knight in Shining Armour because I am a Lady in Shining Armour.
:p
hm... I would have to say the Knight. Because I think of a prince as a unintelligent kind of kid who is a snob. And if you're a knight, you usually look pretty dang sweet in that shining armor and all. :)
Neither, psh who needs to be rescued, I would be the one to lock the prince in a tower... see if he had the intellgence to get out. or some local villan. :D
I can't help but think what a nightmare it must have been for those knights in armor when they had to do number two--if you get my drift
I said knight... but after reading the above comment I want to change.... naw I'll just block the image from my daydreams...
Sorry to interfere in a thread for ladies, but I feel the urge of making a few comments :)
Who needs to be rescued.... hmmm.... everyone, at specific episodes of life, including people who are not willing to admit it. I would really love to be rescued by a princess in shining armor and full weaponry, though if she were a humble peasant with any pike-like object, it would be just fine for me. The point is that the lady wields anything that resembles a weapon and, of course, that she has the interest in rescuing this humble guy that I am. Just that and I'll be willing to be rescued
Probably some armor designers had that issue in mind, though I wouldn't bet on it
Definitely the knight! Pretty boys do nothing for me, I like them to be a little more rugged and rascally.
how about a green ogre for my love interest? and I'll be the punching and kicking princess to the rescue :D
Knight. I am one of them. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (only joking) But prince charming is more beautiful then knight because knights are home in battlefield. But I think that prince charming is hero which is equal to knight in shining armor. They are both good guys!
Charm is for men can't handle a hammer and screwdriver. Knights all the way! ;)
Comedian, you are a man after my own heart - Mr Fix-its for me all the way, charm wears thin after a while.
So, 2/3 of us long for the Knight in Shining Armour?
Which proves that ladies still yearn for that strong presence that makes them feel protected :brow:
:p
Unfortunately it's true. Often, when there's a need for a man, a male shows up http://smiles.kolobok.us/artists/jus...C_thinking.gif
Both knights and princes are kind of boring, now that I think about it.
What most girls really want is a villian.
The outcome of certain events throughout human history suggests that Juniper has a point.
