I've got the song "Symphony" stuck in my head after reading the Music Poll thread.
"Per Te"
~ Josh Groban...ahhhh
Per Te
Sento nell'aria profumo di te
Piccoli sogni vissuti con me
Ora lo so
(And there you have it!) :)
I am currently being tortured by the little Ethel Merman that lives in my head repeatedly belting out "Hooray for Hollywood!"
Yes, there is a little Ethel Merman (among many others) living in my head
No, that is NOT normal
"Home" by Daughtery

*headbangs*
Rock around in the oldies!
great song... great name...
As of now I am trying to keep the bridge of FOB's Bang the Doldrums (the song in my sig) echoing in my head while killing myself with my SocSci project.
Didn't Starship do something similar?
If it's the one I am thinking of then I can see how that would get stuck in your head.
Don't know much about Air Supply other than "I'm all out of love I'm so lost without you..." It was on a compilation record they used to advertise on afternoon TV. It was love songs or something and there was a cheesy album cover of a man and woman walking on the beach and the songs on the album would crawl across the screen and they would play excerpts of the songs titles typed in yellow. Air Supply was one of the ones you got to hear a sample of. And now THAT is in my head. Thanks GADGET - thanks for reminding me :D
What the Man Said ~ Paul McCarty
Heheh, no problem Shalot!
Yeah, Starship has their own version of "We Built This City", but that time I heard Air Supply, so that stayed in my head. :)
Now I'm listening to The Cranberries. Hmm, these last few days I'm listening to old songs... how weird. *laughs sheepishly* But I like them though. :D
Hell, quite often I've got Carol Channing in my head singing! Generally it is goes back and forth between "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" and "So Long, Dearie".
Right now , though, it is "Ring of Fire", Johnny Cash. This is one of my killer ones. It will just spontaneously pop into my head and I can't get it out!
The Eagles - Heartache Tonight
"The internet is for porn" :alien:
"Carpe Diem"
We're working on it in Orchestra, and there's the really pretty cello part that we worked on in class today, only it's incredibly hard, but that's OK.
"Young Gifted and Black" [don't know who by :(] it's just going round and round
"Somedays Are Dimond, Somedays Are Stone" was written by John Denver
Pride and Joy...Stevie Ray Vaughn

you'll love Koko Taylor.....;)
Currently obsessed with Rammestein's Du Hast.
What You See-Oingo Boingo
The whole day. But it's one of my favorite Oingo Boingo songs, so it's a pleasant madness. :p
"Pretty red roses, wet puppy noses, men with rubber hoses is MORE LIKE IT."
"Yippee-i-o-ki-ay" :D
Well, lately, though, it has been a toss up between two songs from two Stephen Sondheim musicals.
"Unworthy of Your Love" from "Assassins" (probably because I've been in another phase of constantly listening to this music)
and
"A Little Priest" from "Sweeney Todd" (this is in my mind most often, though, and it is the one currently playing away right now)
If anyone here knows either one of those shows, then they know what they're about, what those songs are and have a little more knowledge of my insanity! No NORMAL person has those songs go through their mind!!
in my head: a mixture of vincent (don mclean's, but josh groban's version), and nemo, by nightwish. i don't mind. these songs don't qualify as those you'd hate to have last song syndrome of, anyway. :)
Amanda, Vincent is a beautiful song. Maybe it'll play in my head later.
Right now, The Boxer by Simon and Garfunkle.
O.K. so, I'm staying with a friend while I'm "between homes". Was in the shower this morning singing (as I often do in the shower). This morning I woke up with "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?" from The Sound of Music stuck on repeat mode in my head. Following is a transcript of the conversation between my friend & I after I came out of the bathroom
"You got a call while you were in the shower."
"What? Everyone who knows I'm staying here would have called me on my cell phone.... and that was with me."
"All I know is that Mirriam Webster called and wanted to know which picture of you should be used as the definition of 'QUEER'!"
I'd like to say that I had a witty retort; but I was too busy rolling on the floor laughing.
"Moments" ~Emerson Drive It's one of those sad days when you think, yeah, I had my moments...
"Little Boys" by Devendra Banhart, and I won't put the lyrics here. :)
"Just picture a mammoth steak; fried, roasted, or stew! Oh food! Wonderful food! Magical food! Glorious food!!!"
From the movie "Ice Age 2". :D
When you're blue
and you don't know
where to go to
why don't you go
where fashion sits.....
Puttin' on the Ritz!!!
Sadly I must admit that it is the 80's version by Taco that I'm hearing.
My favorite it the version from Young Frankenstein.
