I once met a writer on a forum, making conjectureful comments about their work, I now regret, but nontheless, it is interesting to actually correspond with a famous person. So, is anyone here a famous writer?

yah, I bet it's gonna be really exciting to have a famous among us!
You caught me, I'm really William Makepeace Thackeray.
Anyone ever wonder why I laud Michael Crichton so much?
I bet JT feels like killing us:D

ROBIN MCKINLEY FAN??? *hug*
uh . . yeah, anyway . . . oh yeah, i'm a famous writer. wrote lots of books. like "How To Get Poor Quick By Pretending You're A Famous Writer On Forums". Oh, and the bestselling ":goof:"! :D
I think Admin is the Beowulf poet.
lol...
I'm by no means famous, but I am a writer :D...
but then again, aren't we all? Guess I'll leave now...:p
good one,Sacher:D
Shakespeare's not dead yet, you know...
I have patiently waited for the AUTHOR to identify themselves. I'm also patiently waiting for Indiana Jones 4 also not to mention a GREAT Captain Blood remake movie. I have all the time left me in the world. I'll check back in a day or two. I do not promise to actually READ your book(s) however but will ooh and ahh with the best of them. I bet it Janet Evanovich.
Ehhh...Indiana Jones 4 strikes me as unnecessary.
My friend is a published writer who gets stalked all the time...I love it, she uses a pseudoname so she can tell when it's someone she really doesn't know...she's "Lindsey Leigh Rush." It's hilarious because her books say that she lives here, and people come here, then recognize her when she's out at clubs, and come up to her like "Lindsey! Lindsey!" and she's like "Time to go!" hehe...
We need a Shakespeare Theme Park.
To Robinhood Highlander 2 was unneccesary I need Indiana Jones 4 for my wife to drool over and remind me that Harrison is aging so much better then I and I can sigh and let her have her little bone while I continue my strange obsession with Nicole Kidman even though I like VERY few of her movies.
Robin, you live in England. Take a trip to Straford. It almost like a theme park.

England! What? My guess was you were a diplomat's son living in Spain.
Wow, really?
It's a possibility -- I like keeping a shroud of mystery around me, is all.
 Okay, a diplomat's son living in Mexico. although Sherwood Forest does make loads of sense!
If I didn't want to keep my location secret, maybe I should start a location guessing thread...
you could, but it wouldn't be any fun if you wouldn't tell us in the end. Maybe you could do the hot or cold thing. then we could at least pin you down to a continent!
Ehhh...it'd be too easy if I gave you a continent. Plus, the mystery'd be gone.
true.
mystery is okay with me.
Still, don't let that discourage you from giving your reasons. Since I'm not telling :p, you can't feel bad if you're wrong because you won't know. If you don't mind my asking, how do you guess "Diplomat's Son"?
well, I'm guessing you are not living in the states, but I really do think you are American, and you are fluent in Spanish. Why would you be at 18 unless you were constantly exposed to it? That means you either have one parent who is a Native Spanish speaker, or your parents are expatriots. I just threw diplomat out there, maybe your dad, or mom, works for Ernst & Young. ????
How far off am I???
I'm not saying, although I am rather flattered at your assessment. :D  :D
almost correct:D:D
...not saying.
whoa, Robin, you're 18??!!
*stalks* :D
hmm . .. . i'm guessing . . . mild-mannered comic-book-store-owner by day, WRITER by night!!! (insert theme music here)
Robin if you are in England send me some 2000 ADs -- I'm only missing a couple hundred. Won't even talk about the Megazine-Distributor stopped carrying them for 2 years fiasco.
