As to his poetry, well, finer poetry minds than yours disagree on Dylan (perhaps our finest living critic, Christopher Ricks, wrote a book-length study on him). I actually am familiar with Arthur Lee and Love and quite like them, but I don't know why you're comparing him/them to Dylan... at least, I've never made a connection between them. Also, suggesting that anyone that was involved in ELO are in any way better than The Beatles is :rofl:
