Am I the only spoilsport out there who hates these things? The other smileys I can live with, but the bananas...I'm sorry. They're morons.

There are some people who actually like the dancing banana! :D
But can't they simply enjoy them in the privacy of their own homes without inflicting them on the rest of us?
or the dashboards of their cars? ;) :bana -
- whew! that was close, it was running fast to make it into this post!
Dancing Nana is hurt and offended by this lack of love!
<turns to Dancing Nana> It's ok little fella. There's always room for you at Donkey! Monkey!
The dancing banana by itself is obnoxious and irritating. How about this one?

Cut down in his prime!
....OH.......my!!...............
...I do so love thee dancing banana........with your pointed head (like some others I know) and pale yellowed skin so smooth.......tis' not the colour of your hide promoting this hate, but your joyous abandon for life's approach, nor does your soft white meat inspire, hate but nourishes joy on so banal days.....
OOOOHHHHH......I wish I had a dancing banana right now........ *sniff*
It's nothing surprising to hear this complain from a person who measured out his/her life with coffee spoons
Thank you so much, Mono.
Ihrocks, the dancing banana is never hurt and offended. Or if he is, he never shows it and this is what I resent so much about him - the obsessive jiggling back and forth, the fixed, monomaniacal smile - I want to know what's behind this goonish, hedonistic persona. Somewhere inside, I think there must be a very scared and confused little banana.
He's annoying, sure, but not annoying enough to get rid of. Get us a peace sign! :D
Dancing Nana is simplicity itself. He has the joie de vive that someone like me completely lacks, yet I am so simple-minded and easily amused that I can be mesmerized by his little happy jig for hours on end. Just as covering a canary's cage will put the bird instantly to sleep, so I am tranquilized by the steady rhythm of Dancing Nana's pas de une (and occassionally deux, troix, etc.).
