Chess

Hey I was thinking, why don't we create a yahoo chess club, we could play chess against eachother on a given day, and maybe have a private room, I don't know if its possible, but any takers?

chess is the greatest game ever.

Good idea, Stanislaw. I will join, so long as the events do not conflict with my present schedule (nursing school) :eek:.

My short expericene with chess has only heightened my enthusiasm.

i have several yahoo accounts already. I have played yahoo chess, but never in a chess club or anything. how do we set this up?

I am not exactly sure how we can set up our own room, however we can create our own group. The email chess may not be a bad idea either, if one can't make it to the event.

anyone been watching the news about the chess guy Fischer ? i watched a press conference about him today on ESPN

I'd play. I used to be really into chess...I go on and off it...right now I'm actually horridly rusty...

But why Yahoo chess, MSN Zone chess is much better (from the experience I've had of it)...but then again you can't start your own...or maybe your can...you can actually start a tournament, if you'd like that...yeah...*drifts off*

Well if anyone'd like to have a look at the MSN thing, it's http://zone.msn.com/chess - I used to spend a lot of time on it...playing, chatting, and ASL'ing. :D But I'd be fine with Yahoo if it were necessary.

As long it fits with my time zone. I don't want to have to get up in the middle of the night for it. ;)
