King of the hill

steph's hill

Whew! After painstakingly removing all the pieces of flypaper, with a little help from my friends, I manage to jump ship . . . er, train, and head back for the hill. Fortunately, Siberia isn't very far away, so it was a rather quick trip. Upon seeing steph on the hill, I sit down to think. What'll it be this time? Cosmic death rays? No, too gory. Martian abduction?:alien: No, I haven't talked to Arnold in ages, and I can't really ask him any favors. Oh, I got it!:idea: I pull out my phone, and punch the first number on the speed dial.

"Yo, Bruno, man, I got a hit for ya. Ya diggin'?"
"Sho thing. Where you at?"
"Da Hill. You know the one."
"A'ight. I'm rollin'."

Within minutes, Bruno arrives, and we do our secret handshake before he heads up the hill to visit steph. She is just watching TV, I think, and when he says he is just selling encyclopedias and other random books out of his trunk, she figures she'd be nice and at least look at them. Steph thinks she sees her all-time favorite novel, an autographed copy, near the back, and so she reaches in really far, but ends up having to climb in the trunk to grab it. Which would be all good, except Bruno chose that exact moment to slam the trunk shut and hit the gas.

"Thanks, bro," I call after him, and he just waves out the window as he speeds off. Thank goon-ness for gansta bros, that's all I can say.

Zanna's hill.
I have been watching this madness for weeks from my little car and I think I have the perfect plan.
I rush home, do my magic in the kitchen then drive back.
'Dinner, pizza and cheesecake!' I call waving the said items about. You look down and the aroma makes you dizzy from hunger.You look at me, a mere whimpy looking girl and decide you will smile, whack me one and take the goodies back up with you.
But I am ready. I haven't been practising my martial arts for nothing. With a very neat move I have you down, handcuffed one of your wrists to one of your legs-.......strange sounds coming from your mouth. I do have compassion on you though. I stuff a large piece of pizza halfway to your mouth and give you a napkin, don't want stains on your excellent clothes.
Chow baby. :).
I take the rest of the goodies in my picknick basket and whistle a kicking Irish tune all the way up the hill.
Wow.....never been king or queen of the hill or even the remote. I could get to like it here.

The dragon leaned in from his dimensional window to see who was in possession of that miserable hill now. He startled Jane Jane almost to death. "Here, yersel."
She burst out. "If ye'll be going by name o' Tarzan, begorah, me name's Gertrude O' Malley, so it is!" The Dragon nearly choked in a fit of booming laughter, like thunder upon the hill. "Here, now, ye auld sarpint, that isnae funny!" And she threw the dishwater at him, but he was already fading back through the portal. "A gold coin, lass, for your joke!" and he was gone, but Jane Jane were no fool. She hopped right on that coin before the little folk could get it. "Hum. Dacient sort, fer a sarpint." ;)

Lord good sir , after reading your words I am quite sure I shall not sleep this night. Not without garlic, a silver bullet and some really tasty hot chocolate at least!
Well sir, you think Dragon that you bested this lass. Hah! and Hah again. 'Tis true I fell for your blarney, but I happen to have a most powerful fairie for my god mother and she was watching you. If you check you will see a red bull's eye on your hinder parts that says' I will be most grateful for any kick you can spare'. She undid your doing and here I am once more. And what is more, the darling left me some lasagna, oh the joy.
Does anyone have some all purpose cleanser. I do believe the old dragon is not house broken yet. hahahahaha :)

Jane Jane, dear. The Dragon never takes the hill. He pops in from time to time to pull pranks, but since he and the Martian King had a treaty about the hill which the crafty old Frog broke, The Dragon remains in the shadowlands, and pops in when he wants a laugh. Now see here, quit fogging me brain. Go have a nice sandwhich and read a book about not popping here or there but staying in your lair and laying on dusty old jewels and fading swords, something like that.
My hill, mine mine mine. I am thinking of adding a tea house,perhaps putting up an observatory, a little one, and a kosher hot dog stand. You know, for passer byers that have no cravings to be king of the hill.

I hire an army of moles to undermine the hill, then I move it elsewhere with the help of a friendly witch, stand on top of the hill, take a deep breath and holer:

It's is my hill, and to demonstrate, I call forth a swarm of locusts that feat on Jay's body. The remains are swept away in the wind, and I take back control of the hill :D

Nighty! I rush up the hill, so excited to see night again, that I end up bowling her over, thus dethroning her. I feel bad for a little bit, because I was more interested in giving her a welcome-back hug, but . . . you can't just give up the hill when it's handed to you like that. Oh, and thank you Jane Jane, for the scrumptious pizza. You'll get used to the ol' dragon, too. :)
But, of course, it's now my hill.

Well after reading that last entry, Zanna's Hill

Zanna gets sleepy after eating a lot of pizza. B then sneaks up on Zanna and places Zanna in a giant bowling ball. B pushes the giant ball down the side of the hill and straight towards the distant forest. The bowling ball continues to pick up speed the entire way.. Oh no this is going to be horrible...I can't look. Anyways, B looks for some leftover pizza.

B's Hill, and he isn't sleepy...don't even think of it.

B-Mental was running from the West end of the ship to the East end, dodging flak cannons and rocket launchers, sniper fire, shotguns, rail guns, and grenades, when Atabekov and Nicholas ran up from behind. The ship rattled and clanged and the noise in the air was deafening from the explosions, and men from all sides fell into the water, mostly shot to bits from the hectic melee. B-Mental has just taken out three attackers on his left, and Atabekov and Nicholas took aim and began a barrage on the East end. B-Mental leapt up to a higher part of the metal submarine, resplendent in his combat armour, and then took a bullet in the neck. He toppled over into the water, and then Nicholas turned on Atabekov and killed him as well, sending him over into the water to swim with the fishes as well.

Jay's Hill

I tell Jay that we've adopted new rules while she was gone, namely she can't wear red while on the hill. Jay leaves to change tops. I reclaim the hill.


Papaya's Hill

Papaya's hill.
I stand on the bottom and call up and ask how on earth she adopted that name. She is pleased to be asked and begins to tell me.
"Can't hear you lass!" I call making frantic arm movements.
She tries again and again I say the same. She is getting fairly annoyed and comes down the hill a wee bit. I call again and again she answers so loudly that she starts coughing, her throat hurts.
"I have some lozenges " I shout and throw some a few feet above me. She is tricky and grabs her ever present fly fishing gear line and retrieves it.
A few minutes later I whistle a ditty and walk up ,my long skirt rustling against the tall grass. The dear is sleepin like a babie. That 'nighty nighty' herbal cough drop stuff works like a wonder.
I take care to wrap her well in a blankie and send her careening down the hill where she continues to sleep in a hedge of sorts.

The hill, as I am getting accustomed to sayin is mine. Now then where are those tootsie rolls. All that work has given me an appetite.
