(the reviews are fairly scattered . . . people seem to love it or hate it . . .)
The PAM has a great grasp on Steinbeck's East of Eden.
(I heard about the reviews, but you never know. I liked Everyman, which had the same problem. The premise of "The Ode. . ." seemed interesting. :D )
