Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace
War and Peace by Tolstoy
Lowenstein's book on Warren Buffett (biographical)
Paul Johnson's History of the American People (historical)
William Bennetts "America" book is inspiring and focuses on the Founding Fathers, who I have all the time in world to read about -even though I am not American. There are a few more, that I cannot think of...
