Wot's...Uh The Deal - Pink Floyd
You're favorite, I know, Themis. :)

Thank's Themis for the immpecably sung Peter Alexander track; it brought back happy memories of Vienna.
Here's a French song that just about eveyone knows. I like to play it but nothing like as well as it's played here.

Brian... why not a better varsion? Take this one by Victoria de los Angeles... from the scoring by Hector Berlioz:

Yes it is a very fine performance. It's amazing how many people have recorded it over the years. There is even a version by Brigitte Bardot, although I imagine she will be remembered for other attributes than her singing.
Ellie Goulding's cover of Only Girl by Rihanna. I really can't stand Rihanna (her voice annoys me. I liked her early stuff, but nothing after that), but Ellie's cover makes the song really great to listen to, for me.
Song To Say Goodbye - Placebo
It's been said that this song has been recorded by more people than any other in the history of recorded music but, without a doubt, this is the best version. The singing is superb and Gordon Jenkins magical orchestration of Hoagy Carmichael's bitter sweet lyrics is beyond reproach.

Alive - Pearljam
Here's a nice little song with another excellent Gordon Jenkins arrangement.

:D Yes. I'm afraid my aim is to make him world-famous again.
Ah, the first person I convinced of his greatness... all right, so I didn't. You obviously knew him already.
