Forego all spending to make investments? I'm not going to do it right this second but I might in a couple years. I actually don't spend much money even though I love to. I'm very poor because i dislike working and up til now I worked very few hours. I never buy cd's, alcohol, drugs or what have you and I don't attend sporting events or concerts... I do buy clothes but I... refuse to stop, and I may give up book buying for libraries but it would be painful.

yep, I pick up hitch hikers, though you don't see many anymore. and if some homeless fellow just approached me and said, "could you please give me a ride to x?" id be happy to.

tony---maybe just a smidgen---ive got a friend who seems to be stuck in the 60s music wise and I can play some contemporary tune that would blow most people away and he would go "eh, I don't like it" and I wanna say "what the heck is wrong with you?"

I remember Moby from around 2001. I liked his sound, despite usually rejecting singers who use only one name. But I also associate Moby with this utterly obnoxious girl who used to talk about how he was the future of music. It is with no small pleasure I note that Bounty had to ask the congregation if anyone had even heard of him now. Petty victories are still victories. :)

I would not film it but I might stick around to make sure nothing violent started to happen.

Nah. My ipad doesn't take much time to open, and the side effects of the smart pill can only be guessed at. Giant butterflies, irritability, herbicidal thought or actions--I mean who needs it?

No, he/she should sort his own course. But, I would advise him/her to use live with my philosophy(which is Eastern and too long an a answer).

(On the previous music issue: it's a real deal breaker with dating and always was. My standard test is to give them my ipod and choose an artist/songs, but the last two said, "eh, I like everything" or worse, "it doesn't matter" It's a real indicator about a person who doesn't care much about music, movies, books and art - but there's lots of people out there who don't (shame really).
