I'm drinking a 'Mother of an Energy Kick', with 'Heaps of Energy', 'Inferno', High Caffeine Content in small letters, 500 ml
Green chlorella tablets. Yummy.
I am currently drinking a bottle of Soave white wine that has accompanied a light salad. Damn! I have just noticed that I have finished it and my cat is licking the remaining mayonnaise from the plate.
Just ate a pluot.
I'm enjoying a needed Corona Extra.
Drinking a Dr pepper and gonna go eat some elk :)
Water. Delicious.
Oatmeal
Right now, having just partaken of a plate of spaghetti, I am drinking a bottle of Chianti Superiore 2005 from the region of Poggio al Cassone. I am somewhat relieved that it isn't from the Poggio Al Capone which might have called its pedigree into question.
I am eating a side salad, which is enough for me, and drinking a 2007 bottle of French red wine from Corbieres. Bottled at the Chateau de Caraguilhes, the wine is organic and therefore doesn't contain sulphur as would normally be the case. The Chateau dates from 1525 and originally formed part of a Cistercian Abbey.
A cup of green tea.
I have just eaten some Thai noodles with tofu as my main meal of the day
and am now drinking a bottle of French red wine bottled by Pasquiers and dated 2008. The grapes are Grenache Noir from the Pays D'OC region. I am also eating a packet of Salt and Vinegar French fries but they will be complimented with a packet of Cheese and Onion crisps and a packet of Roasted and Salted Cashew nuts.
An apple
Tea...
I am at this moment eating a mixture of roasted cashew nuts and Japanese Rice Crackers to go with the bottle of Chianti that started out as accompaniment to spaghetti on toast topped with melted cheese. The label on the bottle reads: Le Selci, Chianti, Vendemmia 2006 Italia.
The legend at the bottom of the label reads: NON DISPEDERE IL VETRO NELL'AMBIENTE. As if I would.
And to think I once described this thread as trivia.
Gatorade and fruit snacks from Target. I live a life of glamor and excitement.
Potato dumplings.
Just came back from an amazing 5 course tasting menu that included a beet salad, pork belly, halibut with caviar sauce, cod and a decadent chocolate granache and sweet potato sorbet paired with a Monte Fariesi white wine.
Can't eat this way all the time but you have to splurge once every five years or so. One of those meals you'll remember for a long time to come.
Mint Candy.
:lurk5:
homemade feta and olive dip on corn bread
Right now I am eating a packet of Twiglets and drinking an outrageously overpriced red wine from the Languedoc region of France. It is called La Sauvageonne les Ruffes 2008. I bought it because I like to try wines from outside the more established regions such as Bordeaux and Burgundy. It is very good despite the price.
A salami sandwich and kool aid, 2010 vintage.
Nothing. I've gained a few pounds this passed month (missed too many gym workouts) and have given up my nightly snack. At least for now. :D
Tonight I'm eating a small salad with a bottle of Soave from le Collezioni of Pasqua. Not bad at £6.39p a bottle. I have just finished the salad and will complete my meal with a packet of smoky bacon crisps a packet of salt and vinegar crisps and a pack of roasted salted cashew nuts.
We do lead exciting lives, don't we?
Strawberry yogurt popsicle
Baked BBQ chicken and buttered peas (on the stove right now), all over white rice and a nice cup o' ice water, which I will eat while watching either Jeremy Brett solve a mystery I will very likely have read already or "Pierrot Le Fou". Which do you think would go better with my meal?
That sounds real good!
I couldn't recommend either since I am not familiar with either.
I would have suggested either watching "The Waltons" or listening to Burl Ives.
As for me, I consumed my hotel's happy hour meal of "Buffalo Wings" catered from Hooters, along with fresh veggies and a glass of Merlot.
.
I have just finished eating some raw cashews and japanese crackers with two tins of strong lager beer. I have another tin of medium strong beer waiting and am just deciding whether to open it or not. Maybe I should go back on the whisky again instead of drinking so much beer.
A glass of red wine. :wink5:
Chocolate cupcake with pink frosting! (supporting the cure.)
This is a little belated as I have just finished all edible and drinkable substances. However. for the record, I have just eaten a plate of Thai noodles accompanied by a bottle of Brise de France, vin de pays D'oc Cabernet Sauvignon 2008. I wouldn't have had it any other way.
a sweet tart
A tepid cup of tea.
Currently I am eating some savoury biscuits with duck a l'orange pâté and drinking Carlsberg Export Lager.
