There's a loud crash as a huge man comes through the door, ripping out the frame which is jammed onto his shoulders.
"Excuse oi." He said blushing, " Oi'm Jan Ridd as anybody seen moi Lorna.....Oh sorrie wrang thread. " He shrugs off the door frame, turns and leaves.
Voice receeds into distance "Loorrrna, Lorna Doone, whur is you Lorna..." until it disappears into the R D Blackmore thread.

Chesh tickles Artemis' nose with his tail. Merlin makes Calvin dissapear ina cloud of smoke. "It's an even madder world out of here." Merlin states. Chesh perches on his shoulder and grins mysteriously... again.

Venom joins the fray randomly. Hows that for an orderly battle?
Merlin turns into a very confused looking Calvin. And Venom suddenly has Chesh's head. Merlin cannot help but smile.
Venom notices Merlin's smile and say with his mouth half full of an angry Chesh," What's so funny? I do this kind of stuff!"

slippy looked at the battle, said, "vhooqo!" and everyone froze in place!
In the vantage point of a circling ship, Deadpool surveys the scene.
"Now look at what has that spas gotten into now!" he says to himself," frozen by a frog. Oh well, it makes them easier to harvest for the front lines."
The ship descends towards the ground.
The smoke lifts...

"idvhooqo..." slippy said, and the group unfroze, then fell to the floor with a thud...
Nets fall from the bottom of the ship, which was now flying low to the ground.
"fox?" flaco said
"what?" fox responded
"are you done trying to freaking kill me?" falco inquired.
"why?"
"we have a problem. code 7-R."
krystals ears perked up, and she asked, "did you just say code 7-R?"
"yes..." was the response....
"BATTLE STATIONS!!!!! NOW!!!!" she yelled.
Webs suddenly tie the arms of all of the recruits. "Were going to the front lines!"
But...Webs forgot that cats cannot be tied...by ropes or loyalty. Mewtew freed herself, then sat down for a leisurely cleaning. She WOULD go to the front lines when she had taken care of the important things first.
Venom reminds Mewtew that there is no character named webs, but thre is a character who can shoot webs.
Deadpool then drops out of the ship and slashes Mewtew across the back.
Mewtew, being a cat, never acknowledges she is wrong. Emitting an unearthly howl, she leaps on Deadpools back, swipes him across the scalp, then runs across the frozen wasteland.
Deadpool's instant healing kicks in and he shoots Mewtew up the tail. He and Venom then gather up the netted and webbed up captives and load them onto the transport ship for briefing.
Suddenly, Calvin has an amazing idea

"slippy? anytime would be nice!" krystal and fox shouted in unison...
slippy sighed and said, "vhoo ij vhem eih redtj!"
suddenly, the webs broke, freeing the team and new recruits!
"I'm getting very impatient here!" Said Deadpool, firing off some stun rounds.
"hotahosk jkid ke Deadpool" as slippy said this the shocwaves from the bullets redirected themselves to Deadpool, sending him to the ground, stunned!!!
Deadpool's instant healing ability does just as it's name suggests. Deadpool then takes a wire and ties Slippy's tongue in a knot. No more Dino from Slippy!
fox just smiles... then he says, "idkao slippy's keidwo, udt kao Deadpool's xudtj." slippy's tounge was intantly free, but not deadpool's hands!
Deadpool cuts his hands off. His hands grew back. Deadpool was about to see if Fox's tail would grow back when a multitude of rocks slammed against the teams heads concussivelly. Venom was flinging rocks with tentacles of symbiotic slime.
master chief said, "xouc..." and they all healed!
Venom roared, "JACODSO UDT JCOOF!"
The entire clearing went quietly into dreamless sleep.
"Unubod"
The team woke up gagged, tied up, and in a ship in deep space.
"Now" said Venom,"Lets get down to briefing."
"As we all know, we are going to fight aliens. TRY NOT TO DIE!" Venom yells as he rips the gags and ties off of the team stimentanously. But the peace doesn't last. The ship then empties its passengers onto the planet below them.
It was to the front lines.
"od uoy kniht eh dezilaer taht ew tn'erew yllautca rednu sih lortnoc?" krysytal asked in their secret language...
"ton ta lla..." fox replied in the same tounge, then, in dino-speak, he said, "kocofehk ij ke juvoko!"
the team teleported to saftey!
