Those and more girls are computer-literate enough to survive in forums as ours? ;)
Actually I think the men are catching up. I think there used to be more of a spread.
I think women are more comfortable with their love of literature, since stereotypically men are the "science and math" experts and women are the "reading and writing" ones. Of course, as the years pass by these stereotypes diminish, which is always a great thing :D And hopefully something that is reflected on litnet.
Math was my best subject in school....as well as motherhubbards and we're both females. I sucked at science, I will admit and wasn't that great at English either.
Theres no real competition here. Women will catch up now they're allowed to and be as good at lying politely and killing as guys.
U-huh, sure.
Which forum was that, by the way? www.joinifyouareaboy.com/forums?
:p
 No, actually it was a forum for table-top wargamers. :p In fact, I was actually a mod there until I resigned my position. www.asrai.org
I've been on forums that are nearly all guys too. So much so in fact if a girl turned up it was a big deal! Shooting games and designing levels for them.
I know what you mean! :D Check out this thread: http://www.asrai.org/viewtopic.php?f...it=girls#p4065. Yes, I started that thread. That was years ago, though. You can tell I've matured quite a bit since. ;)
Maturity is overrated.
Sure, man. :) You won't be able to get some visual evidence from me, though.
My pictures are pretty misleading :p
Oh, by the way, I checked it out already. Where is it?
I didn't see it there. :(
Female.
That's whats in right now enit? :o)
That result was interesting for me. More female than male. I tend to see generally more male than female, at least in forums. I guess more females are more interested in literature stuffs. :O
i'm male and i'm not ashamed of this :)
I wasn't surprised at all by the result. I think females are definitly the main participants in the games and quizzes on the site. At least I am..
People seem to think i am male because of my avatar though :D
I think some people thought I was male for a while when I said my name is Sam. Or perhaps that was another forum thing.... I forget :p. Anyhow, I'm not surprised with the results!! :p Our Lit class at school is 5 girls and 1 guy.
And just to remind you all, I am female .
You know, Tiny Dancer, Cate Blanchett played Bob Dylan in I'm Not There , so like for all anyone knows that could be the female portrayal of him..... So therefore people should not judge by avatars!! :D
Actually it seems to me that the percentage of males is going up. Didn't it used to be around 33%. Yay guys!
I'm female. Woohoo.
As I guessed female more than male :D
Does this really mean that more Litnetters are female, or that more females care to answer random polls?
Male!
I'm a dude.;)
I shall now add to the masses. Female.
I'm female ;)
