Well of course the Decalogue is going to be the best it was made by the master Krzysztof Kieślowski. As for the Wonder Years meh bogged down by tepid sitcom cliches. Doesn't really have any social commentary within it or anything great done with character. It has pretty run of the mill character arcs etc.
Louie is the best thing to air on TV since The classic era of The Simpsons ended. I mean it's nowhere near as good as classic era Simpsons but yeah everyone should watch Louie.
Ballroom dancing and me have never crossed paths - until this series of Strictly Come Dancing. I have no idea of what makes a good Rumba or anything like that, but I can see everyone is having a great time. I believe I'm becoming hooked. This week I watched it while Logged on to #strictly on Twitter. Is this the future of TV viewing?
Parks and Recreation is very funny (mockumentary similiar to The Office). Alot of dry wit. I likey!
I'm watching Doctor Who backwards and I'm at the beginning now which means that I've come across the lost episodes. Now that is a real shame.

Comedy: Spaced(unrivaled king of all television shows), Louie, Sunny, and Arrested Development.
Other: Boardwalk Empire. No Reservations.
Gunslinger Girl-- yes, it's an anime, and yeah, it has a lousy title, but I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a thoughtful show with well developed characters and questions of ethics and morality.
The Simpsons. Only Fools And Horses. Gavin And Stacey and many many more.
Oh, I love Parks and Rec! Leslie Knope is my hero and Ron Swanson is the coolest person on the planet. Although I have decided I'm really uncomfortable with how everyone treats Jerry, kind of like how Michael Scott treats Toby. :pQuote:

I am watching Pushing Daisies now, mainly because I heard the creator of that show is trying to make a new Star Trek tv show. but I do like it, it's funny and he seems to be obsessed with death since that guy also made Dead like me.
Without a doubt, my favourite show of all time is 'Eureka'. A show about a town filled with the world's geniuses and scientists.
I would encourage all to watch it, and sign petitions to keep it afloat after this next season, which is when they will allegedly cancel. :P
I'm doing a second watch-through, and have started watching Warehouse 13 as well, which seems like a fun show thus far, but nothing to write home about yet. About halfway through first season and working my way from there.
Have watched and enjoyed Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis. Loved Farscape. :) Robinhood, and Dharma and Greg.
I dislike shows where they brandish a lot of crudeness for no apparent reason. I like subtly and discretion, and artful dialogue, humour and lots of puns. :P
I am not much of a TV person, but when I wake up in the morning, I need at least an hour where I just sit on the couch with a hot cup of coffee and a good show to watch. I usually record the following shows and then watch an episode of whichever one while I wake myself up. I think it's the happiest part of my day!

and I am currently watching Lost on DVD. I just started the second season. I don't know if I like it as much as I liked the first season since I think Jack is turning into a whiner and his role as a leader is starting to be abused. I get pretty annoyed with the way he talks to Locke.
I also enjoy New Girl (it gets better and better with each show. I used to hate it so much), Suburgatory, The Secret Circle (50% because I get fashion tips from the characters and the other 50% because it's fun to make fun of. The story is pretty awful), and reality shows like Survivor and The Colony.
