a spent widow smiles

dust motes dancing
in a
sunbeam-
summer morning

mosaic of green
golden
light-a
summer afternoon

summer twilight
stretches,
a sleepy
child
at bedtime

all lovely qimssung!

your quiet fidgets
make me cry
for comfort

Flying high
in a performance lit sky

Yellow cats-
a crayon drawing
on the fridge.

By the sea
With me
Can we flee

pulling me to
watery dreams.

foggy hazed exhaustion
dominates me
i miss sleep

a conversion
of fantasy
to an impotent awareness.

inclining their ears,
can they really be listening?
