Just need to vent my gnawing frustration at my english teacher (no respect for her students) forced me to say sorry for having read the back cover of a book during her class.. she confiscated the book and waited for me to come pick it up after class whereupon she gave me a lecture about reading in her class...
Anyway, I asked if i could have the book/script back and she holds it out, i reach for it and she takes it back. Splitsecond and i realise she's asking me to appologise to her... for reading the backcover of a book. so i contain my rising fury and contempt and pass out an "I'm sorry, it won't repeat itself." she adds, "you can have it back this time, but if it happens again, you will never get it back." First, she by no means has the authority to destroy a students items, and also this script happened to be the manuscript to the play myself and a few others intend to produce for the school. Independantly, and we purchased it per order from america for our own money. All that because i was reading the back while she was ranting about how the main character of our current book is crazy.....
Phew, just needed to vent that massive frustration. I'm not used to being talked down to, and i find it humiliating and disrespectful.
The dog threw up. The dog threw up. Yesterday the cat threw up. My kid doesn't want to do homework and whines like a baby. My husband gripes about the turkeys at work. I worked for many years. I know what it is like to make a living. I have a high maintenance kid and I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I don't know how my aged mother is doing. I wasn't up for chit-chat today. The guy is here to clean the gutter and I gotta get dinner ready. Working for a paycheck seems like a fine thing now.
The grass IS always greener on the other side. The news is bleak; another hurricane a comin' in. They say the storm is headed for Texas......Crawford maybe? I hope FEMA is ready like last time a hurricane went into New Orleans.
I am headed back to the kitchen. The mums need to be watered and the dog is waiting for her rice dinner. I'm taking her to the vet on Wednesday. I need to make an appointment with the lady who did the auditory processing disorder test on my kid and get a prescription slip in the mail.
Tonite is Monday night football. I can curl up all by myself. I can read a book in peace with my siamese cat, Honey, at my side and have a cup of tea.
Things just go that way somedays I guess, but I have tried to have my fun and my "ballroom days" ain't over, baby.
Have a cold and keep sneezing all day and yet have to finish homework... so tired. To make matters worse, it's freezing :rage:

what a day. baby hasia crumpled up her cupcake and threw it all over the couch and floor and i was having company. so i vacuumed and she screamed. then after i cleaned and was starting the luncheon she wanted a cookie and has to always sit wherever i am so i gave her one and then i happened to look down and she had used the cookie(chocolate chip) to draw pictures on the hardwood floor and she was brown everywhere. I was so frustrated. i put her in the crib while i vacuumed again and cleaned up. Then i had the stuffed peppers and yadayada all done and waited and waited.i put baby to bed with her baba and waited. travis was in the bedroom doing something totally wierd and freaky on the guitar(like the sound of fingers scraping the blackboard) so i hit myself ten times so i wouldn't start screaming.
then i checked my email and of course my guest from out of town couldn't make it.
of course. so i decided to work on one of the children's books and the baby woke up and hated me. nothing made her happy except that she should destroy the computer and rare books. of course.
the rest of the day went down hill and at bed time baby had oatmeal and assorted foods stuck to her hair, she had thrown her dinner all over the floor. naturally and i had company.
finally two of the family went to bean to cup and i put hasia in the bath. she kept putting her head into her bucket filled with water and then crying. arghhhhhhhhh!!!
she is asleep now but i am too tired to write.of course. so i guess i will go and do more dishes, the laundry and fall asleep, have to be up at three a.m.
of course.sorry if my small life bored you all but if felt so nice to vent

Rachel I am so sorry for your bad day. I was frustrated as I was reading your post so I can only imagine how you felt. I just hope there won't be any more days like these... :)

Well i am sort of embarassed now that i shared because the next day was way worse. so i should have been grateful for that day. my daughter was assaulted badly by her guy and i felt like my world was crashing down. she is safe with us now but he is living in her apartment and all the police did was go and talk to him, then tell her he seemed like a nice guy. a nightmare.

you are so welcome. why didn't the police do something? It depends it seems on the age of the officer, the older ones still feel uncomfortable with "domestic problems" and the younger ones seem to have more psychology behind them and can spot a con.She is very broken and alternates between anger and deathly quiet behaviour. Only time and love can mend things I guess. thank you for asking.
