Gonna have to go with the glasses on that one. Contacts come in handy sometimes though.
Hold a grudge or abandon the friendship?
Both can occur simultaneously from what I have seen and experienced, but I would feel more apt to forgive than hold a grudge; if forgiveness seems out of the question, a dilemma I have faced a few times, I would sooner abandon the friendship rather than suppress cold feelings by holding a grudge.

Blunt Honesty. No question. I can't hide it either. I'm that awkward one that would say "Holy! Look at the size of that big-@$$ elephant!"
