Why won't the jitters go away? Saturday is yet days away.
and sometimes.... you escape so far that you have come full circle, straight back to what you were running from.
Get well soon. Ammi, I want you to be alright. I hope that the operation will go well but you also don't want me to be sad but I can't help being despressed sometimes, you are a very good mother. I love you Ammi, I do!!!!!!!! I really hope that your operation will go well, and you will be hale and hearty as well! Don't worry, you will be alright, it is not a dangerous operation.
'and neither the angels in heaven above nor the ddemons down under the sea can ever dissever my soul from the soul of the beautiful anabel lee...'
beats me why that entered my mind just now...
and if i ever wanna find out, i'll watch the movie...I'm just like everybody else my age.
I've returned from work, to eat some food, and pirate somes stuff, to return to another job, that ends today. - me, about right now. :D
summer school is over... and perhaps there is life after studying?
Would I live as long as I wish?
She is fine now, perfect! :D
After the immense stress of nursing school, the pains of the last term, completing my undergraduate thesis, experiencing the surprisingly nerve-racking graduation, taking an anxiety-saturated NCLEX-RN exam, and awaiting my results (that take two painstaking days to arrive), I at last receive my results . . .
The newest initials after my name: RN. :D
Allll Rriiggghhhttttttt!!!!!!!
Congratulations Mono, RN!!!!
(I tried for a 21 banana salute - but I was denied - where's the mod???)
http://sjoukes.lemsters.net/got/1.gif Congratulations, Mono! http://sjoukes.lemsters.net/got/1.gif
Oh yep, this is a big achievement. Congratulations mono!
Roger Waters is coming to Ahoy!
I really want to go, but tickets are 69 Euros.
I'll just have to check every pocket I have!
I really don't like the absurdly high prices for concerts these days. :(
Could it be save to open the windows at 2,a.m? Or should I wait some more for the insects that try frying themselves on my lamps to go to sleep and make way for the insects that try to drive themselves made by circling the lamps all day?
Thank you, thank you, thank you, papayahed, Scheherazade, and Pensive. It certainly feels relieving to get all that schooling and licensure behind me. Now I only must await the long, boring process of my orientation to the new ICU job.
And a comb and a brush and a bowl full of mush
And a quiet old lady whispering hush...
I wish my children still wanted me to read them Goodnight Moon!
Looks like we'll be listening to Primus instead.
Hey...not bad...
I remember when I once enjoyed warm weather, but the weather lately . . . ugh! Yesterday peaked at 105ºF (about 40.5ºC), the day before at 99ºF (about 37.2ºC), and today, meteorologists anticipate, will peak at 100ºF (about 38ºC).
I have never felt more like the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard Of Oz --

I find it amazing how much I learn about all the members here by just reading the random thoughts and live chat posts!! You know, I find myself spending most of my free time here on LitNet, when normally I would be spending the time reading...hmmm...LitNet, promoter of reading...or slightly distracting ;) What am I talking about, this is not my free time, I am supposed to be working!!!! grrrr
I know what you mean grace, I'm suppossed to be working too. what's even worse a couple times I posted so much a forum member asked if I had a vacation day...
Anyways, now let's talk about me:
What the hell, I'm looking at a sheet of paper that gives the effective dates of certain regulations. As sure as I'm sitting here the regulations start 7/1/06. A guy at another site insists they start 7/1/07. Besides saying ya huh - nuh uh back and forth I don't know how to convince him. .......Maybe I need convincing I dunno.
Lesson learned: don't hitch-hike.........
glue the paper to the dictionay of justice...and have at 'im! If reason doesn't work...osmosis never fails! :DQuote:

Finally (!) I've managed to remember each constitution between 1848 and 1867 and now I can move on to memorizing what they say each. If only the history of law would end there ...
Studying law Themis? Maybe you mentioned that though.
Yes, I do and yes, I did. :D
sometimes I wonder about all the wondrous things in the universe, then I think of all the not so wondrous things in the universe, and I feel content that not all is wondrous for what would the value of wondrous things be if all are equally wondrous?
That's why I enjoy opposites so much.
Anyone who controls the weather here has got a strange sense of irony.
See, there has been a heat wave here for about a month so that by the end of first week everyone felt like melting.
So, the practically only day when it rained and was cold was 23th June.
(explanation: it is a custom in Estonia and in a few neighbouring countries to make a big fire on the evening between 23th and 24th of June. It is an old custom and has actually been practiced in the rest of Europe too, but it has died out there. To make and sit besides th efire is considered to be very important.)
ugh, I realy dislike being on hold!!!! Especially with crappy hold music - It's the satellite radio people they of all people should have goog music!!!!
17 minutes already.
Oh, I can't go to Karachi with these aunties. Ahhhh, I can't bear the way they critisize one---about clothes, jewellery, habits...etc..
*banging her head against the wall*
But I don't want to miss the fun!!!
*confused*
I feel as though I must repeat myself over and over again, overly-explain myself, and go through far too much effort for individuals to understand me; such, I swear, could compel me back to that dreaded teen-angst phase.
At times, absolute silence sounds so tempting.
ahhhh, the old hanging out with the family conundrum!!! I dreaded going on vacation with my relatives quite a few years ago but loking back I wouldn't have missed it for the world - to this day we still tease my uncle about his "Date". hahahaha, I'm laughing about it as I type this... :lol:Quote:
