Random Thought of the Day

I know it is me but I somehow expect a vegeterian to be a non-smoker as well... Why is that? :confused:

For some reason peole think that because I'm a vegetarian I am into a healthy lifestyle and greenpeace and all that. But I am not that into all that. I don't know why. All my friends smoke and I was starting to steal one or two sigarettes but when I found my dad's old pipe I decided to use it and well here I am.

Guess that whole "saving the animals" ideal of vegans makes me think they're here to save the planet by definition as well. So it seems odd to see them spewing smoke into the air as they protect animals from being killed.

Personally I don't smoke, but I would if I had the money to keep up a good habit of it.

Opssiee...someone's really got nailed in the head there Dyr..

Yeah, heh, well I go to a Liberal Arts college that is literally a hippie school in WA, so I see it often enough and wonder how they're anti-corporation, as well as occasionally anti-capitalist here, yet they still buy ciggarettes from major industries..

Ah, random thoughts.

one of the first words i learned in german was ziggeraten (can't spell)... but it was everywhere.

I smoke. I despise the product and government that allows the sale of this addictive substance. Try introducing a product that regularly kills people on to the market. Uh uh! Smokers are now pariahs. We are a dying breed.....my bad...

thank you baddad, I knew I wasn't the only one. I smoke a pipe and the tobacco I smoke is as much as in 7 sigarette packs, and my friends all smoke a pack a day but I have mine for a month so I don't really smoke that much...did anyone get that,I don't think I did.

We do not have enough strenth of will to start smoking - (for if we did, then We'd surely want to stop and wouldn't have the power of will to do it)

Ah right, that's why I found it strange too.

I join the non-smokers but I dont mind the smokers as long as they don't do it in front of me in a closed space. I actually have smoked a few times in my life but never got the habit...it really doesnt interest me, except let's say once every 2 years, plus some random times. When I buy myself something stupid I think : oh well, I dont waste money in smoking, I can afford some little present...:D

so then i said, "that's not even a real cheesecake!"

Speaking of cheesecake, if Psyche's avatar is anything to judge by.......I think Psyche is getting the hang of this place.......or at least this thread......and really, who can argue with Zappa??
