Oh, for crying out loud, it can't be that bad, you only hit the dragon's tail, and he is all soft and squishy. It must really have been just a soft landing. A little kiss on the finger and all will be fine. Just ask the dragon if he want's to give a kiss on your little scratched finger. :)
