I am really big into Shakespeare adaptations, as you probably gathered from my posts to Niamh. She is, too. I had never heard of that, but I think I will try to research it and see what I can come up with. I like Sir Anthony, too. I loved him in "Remains of the Day" and "Howard's End", and many many more.
Did you look on Amazon? Umm... I have only seen the Lawrence Olivier Lear. There is another one with Ian Holme I think. It is a more contemporary version. It would be interesting to see Hopkins play Lear now that he is older. I had never connected him to the role. Perhaps it was a BBC production made for TV that you happened to see parts of. Going to go research now - you have made me curious.

It lists all his films. I see he did play "Titus" Andronicus in 1999. Are you sure it was "King Lear"? I did not see it listed at all. He was in Hamlet way back playing Claudius.
