They're great when you're at someone's house and you're totally bored. But, if they're about something you're not really interested in, then they're not so great. They're big, bulky, and expensive so I am inclined to say no. But, like I said, if you're at someone's house and you're bored and you want to escape an uncomfortable conversation, then those big glossy pictures and sparse words are a lifesaver.

Those little indoor water fountain do-hickey's made to relax you at the end of a day? (they are miniature and have a pump and water splish-splashes and is said to be relaxing)...
don't mind doing that. What I hate about it is putting them in those darn paperbags that when they get wet and you pick up the bag the bottom falls out. It has happened twice so far.
