No - to me, emotion seems a response to some stimulus, hence a reason.

I do. I've had them off and on for as long as I can remember and can only keep one if I don't go back and look at previous entries. I write sporadically.
If you've read The Grapes of Wrath, do you like or dislike the way that he interchanges the chapters between the Joad story and descriptions of America in general? (If you havn't read it, do you think that you will?)
Being a fan of Steinbeck, I have since changed my stance on such an issue. However, when I procrastinated doing my summer reading back in 9th grade til the weekend before school started (the first time I read it), not so much.
