What's the first concert (if any) you went to?

Housework, it's the same ol' grind everyday, the same exact messes, the same unmade beds, laundry, dishes, toys. the same, the same, the same! (to the tune of Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!) I'm sick to death of it, but I still have to do it, because my peace of mind depends on it.
Same Q
Not books, but rather articals. I've been working on them. It's about The Lexical Approach to language teaching.

have no idol.
Who do you respect more?
My best friend, who I've known since we were children, is someone I have the utmost respect for. She's strong in her convictions, sticks up for herself and others, but is one of the most caring and compassionate people I've ever known. She has a strict moral code for herself, but holds no one else to it, and is able to respect others on their own terms. She's pretty amazing.

what is/ was the worst thing about high school?
The people, teachers, poor funding, grading sytem, corrupt security guards,violence,drugs,sex.............I could go on forever.
High school is the closest thing to hell I can imagine.
Same Q
I agree with you there, Ry. High school ruined a lot of things for me, not the least of which was my love of learning. I went through a lot of psychological troubles during those years, and the stresses of schoolwork and social atmosphere (I've always described it as "poisonous") only compounded those problems. I think it must be the same for lots of students. But even now, writing essays and even writing for my own pleasure drags up the old anxiety and sometimes plummets me into a depression. It's like Pavlovian conditioning; when I went through my old papers to find a sample essay for my college application, I started crying and I couldn't stop until I put them away again.
High school blows.

what is the best memory u can remember from ur young age?
I have so many wonderful memories from my young years, which I pretty much consider up until age six, because early that fall is when I oficially moved to the states, (though I still belong in my land of the midnight sun). The reason my family moved when we did was because some laws got changed and my parents didn't want my to go to school at age six... I loved living next door to all my older cousins who were and still are wonderful. I loved visiting my grandma and grandpa who lived nearby. I loved playing with my sister and a neighbor girl. I loved my cabin in the mountains. I think just being young and able to play all day is wonderful...Really, I wonder what I did not love about those days...

When I was seven, we had a retired race horse named Avalanche that I used to ride down to the river, and she'd cross and have to swim half way to the other side, then we'd tie the horses up and jump off of rocks into the river, my brothers would climb up these cliffs that seemed huge, but were probably only 20 ft high or so, and jump off like madmen. On the way home we'd let the horses choose their pace and they would run so fast it was like flying.
