Thank you for the veggies, Rachel. It's just what I need, I was about to delve into my stockpile of canned and frozen in lieu of buying fresh.
Uhh... to remind others of the question, it was: What was the last gift you bought someone?
I'm a terrible giftgiver. The last "gift" I gave was cheap beer bought for a friend.

What are the names of the seven main Catholic Rites (not Sacraments)?
Don't these go in the Trivia thread?
Well, this one is "Ask the person below you", but I agree the question seems more destined for the "Triva" thread. Mind if I answer I have no idea, being Protestant?
You're right, Robinhood. I saw the last question before mine, answered it, then asked the next in the manner of that I had answered. I hadn't noticed a switching of question modes.
I didn't realize there was a list of rites. I'm going to answer, "I'm Catholic (was Catholic, am technically, in the eyes of the Catholic Church, still Catholic... anyway), and I have no idea." They made us learn the sacraments, but never any rites. Google turns up nothing related, either.Quote:

What inspires you?
Once I've been inspired by a girl that I've been in love with. I think what inspires me is being in a mood -- sad or happy -- that makes me reflect; and most of the time, when I'm tired or sleepy. But I think, what inspires me is "the unknown".
Same Q
whta inspires me most is my extra hyper mood whne im around with my friends.
who do you love MOST in the world
myself, I suffer from narcissism, but I love it :p
same Q
I get inspiration from the oddest places...

Inspiration- the word itself is one actually- to me at least. :D
Who was the most resourceful person you've ever met?
my uncle
what do you think of sommerest maugham's writings?
I've only read Of Human Bondage, and I hated it. I hated the beginning, I hated the middle, I hated it all the way through. Then, after sitting in reflection for ten minutes after finishing the last page, I realized that it was the best book I had ever read.
Have you ever felt that way about a book?
Not to the degree it seems you felt. Can you explain exactly what made you like it? I've never read anything by her.
Same Q
"Him."Quote:

But "they" weren't really anybody; they came out of Maugham's head, and he could have made them behave differently, but he didn't. He wrote them as real people, and real people are damned frustrating. And, after all, that is the entire point of the book: freedom of choice is, in a way, Fate itself, because our personal temperaments will almost always lead us ultimately to make the same decisions. Given a thousand chances at the same choice, our decision—and, hence, destiny—will still ultimately be determined by the type of person we are and the experiences we've had. In the end, the book was almost like turning a video camera on at age 9 and turning it off again at age 30 (or whatever it was), and whatever is captured is what makes the story. I was struck by the thought that it takes immense skill to write so objectively on a subject that isn't even really there.
Anyway. Same Q.
Hoo-boy! You should read some of my book reviews on amazon.com. I've never been one to hold back an opinion too much, and I told one writer he ought to write about fertilizer since he was so familiar with the main ingredients, bovine intestinal byproducts. Hee-hee!
Same question.
Not necessarily a book, but a movie. I hated 21 grams but realized I was still thinking about the movie three days later and decided I liked it.
Would you change your plans (paying for airfare change) if your mom was going to have minor surgery the day before you were scheduled to go home for a Easter, if she told you not to change your plans and you had to take 2 extra days off work?

Same Q
I would because even though it's a minor surgery i would still be afraid something might happpen probably because i have had bad expireanses with surgeries.......
what do you consider to be the best thing of life?????????
The best thing in life is to enjoy the good time when they come, and treasure each moment spent with those you love. Memories have a way of lasting and warming the heart when the world turns ugly and things don't go the way one wishes they would. And I do not believe they ever really die...
What do you consider your greatest acheivement in life thus far?
mmm... my family relationship.... well my friendship with my brother, because i now my brother will always be there for me and i will always be there for him. i know that if i need a shoulder to cry on he is always going to be there, if i need to take my anger out i know i can go to him, he is always there for me. he is MY BEST BEST BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!
Same Q.
The grates achievement in my lif eis that I've achieved nothing yet. That keeps me always on the move.
What is the thing that you cherish the most?
I have a few items I cherish, such as a beautiful necklace from my parents for my baptism, other than that, I cherish people, and things from those people or that remind me of them.
Same Q because I don't feel like being creative today. Do you?
I cherish myself above all things, very selfish I know, but that's what I am.
What is on your mind?
