Ha! I' m back, had a kebab.
No, I would take a look but not want to live there as everyone I know and love would be dead
Would you all like to meet me for a drink at the wine bar down the street?

Ha! I' m back, had a kebab.
No, I would take a look but not want to live there as everyone I know and love would be dead
Would you all like to meet me for a drink at the wine bar down the street?
Ok...I'll be the designated driver
Would you get silly drunk?
No I will be amusing but not silly and I rarely get really drunk.
Would you go into space if you were given the opportunity?
I'm not sure...I may have a fear of wide open spaces...
Would you dance with someone who can't dance?
Probably 'cause I'm pretty bad too.
Would you eat cold pizza?
Yes.
Would you watch The Bachelor on Television?
only under duress
Would you complain if you were forced to watch a show like the Bachelor with people that loved the show, or would pretend you enjoyed it too?
I speak from experience.. a person that i live with - yes (and I will feign some interest) but that is no longer something I have to deal with
To keep the peace with the person..compromise so that I can watch my stuff.
Would you have the urge to pop a balloon at a party?
( well that is very nice of you)
yes and I have done that before!
Would you do anything to keep the peace with someone you were involved with, even if it was against your principles?
hhm, I would do alot to keep the peace. In retrospect - more. I wouldn't compromise on principles-but that's usually not an everyday thing.
Would you hang out at Litnet if it were a real pub/bar, with the same members, having a drink? - do ya think you would like it?
I asked a question very similar to that yesterday. Hard to say, I'm very sociable and am able to talk to just about anyone in any social setting, so I would definitely drop by for a drink. Whether I would make it my regular spot or not is hard to say. Do you think everyone here would be as outgoing in real life as they are here?
same Q?
( re: keeping the peace..I agree with you, I wish I had not made such an issue of these types of trivias in the past, but no matter I have learnt from my mistakes and now choose my battles more wisely )
I think there would be enough outgoing people to fill a room. I'd say it's not so much a case that many litnetters are introverts - rather alot of them have interests that are not mainstream - making it hard to relate and are cerebral and deep thinking.
Anyway if you put 50 introverts in a room, they would no longer be introverts-certainly the dynamic would be surprisingly different - I'd say.
So yea, I would hang out here.
Would you live in a very provincial town like say a small town in Iowa?
no offence to small and provincial, but probably not
(Introverts are by nature inward oriented, they usually find being in social situations for too long draining where an extravert draws energy from being with other people. But I know that introverts hate small talk and like to think deep so maybe a large group of similarly minded people that they can debate with would be perfect. So I hope you find your litnet pub, tonywalt)
