Looks like Hodgeson's making good decisions for the team - Carroll starting and scored. Walcott substituted on and scored and set up Welbeck. A bit of a nail biter in the second half. Only one more point to score and we're through.

Andy Carrol's header was sublime, I know he was unmarked and it was a good cross, but it was one o those Leni Riephenstahl moments when he leapt like a salmon and smacked the header into the top corner. The aesthetic quality almost oershadowed the sporting context.:D ( I hae become that Harry Enield ootball supporter.)
