(my mother always has multiple pictures of her children on her walls, and it comes with its share of embarrassment . . . always! :p)
I prefer to see childhood pictures ritually burned and the ashes buried deep underground, not that I'm embarrased, but they don't give an accurate impression on who I am, it's a thing of the past, and the past is past. I prefer the present, not that I'd hang a picture of the present me on the wall, I know a lot of prettier things to decorate walls. Like paintings. :)
