No. That makes them so empty. I think there's a tactful way to get around things without being dishonest. Like if someone gets a haircut you think looks bad on them and they ask what you think, you can always say Wow that sure is different. Or I hardly recognized you! It'll be hard to get used to you with a brand new style. You know, something along those lines.

I once talked a girl in the third grade into believing that there were blue monkeys in the rain forest. I even got upset at first when she wouldn't believe me. I had a pretty crazy imagination, and a position of authority having lived there. :)
