Hi Alina! Welcome! How are you?
Sorry Miss Tenderness, can't help you. :( But hopefully Logos or another mod can. :D

Hi guys hope all is well with you!
:( Well guys I gotta go seeing as though no one is replying to any of the threads I have posted to!:bawling:
Pensey. . where are you? We need to come up with possibilities for "fs"! :D
Oooh, here I am.
Methinks that it is Frank Sinitra. What about you?
I am rooting for Francis Smallbottom
The style of the author a kind of indicates him being a male so I am not much sure about Francis but the last name can surely be Smallbottom (and he can be the uncle of Neville Longbottom from HP series)... *nods*
I have come with another suggestion: Freaky Shirley
Now Freaky Shirley might work, as the poem itself had rather freakish elements, Freaky being a pseudonym for Frankie Shirley, descendant of Anne of Green Gables
Another possibility is Filibero Saavedra, international man of mystery
:lol:Quote:

Good one!
Let's see. . . Franz Schicovsky . . . Polish Freedom Fighter?
Great guys, but I see one problem, Anne of Green Gables got married, so her last name changed, which means you would have to have Freaky Shirly and Anne Shirley Blithe be related by different means.
Willow, this looks absolutely fascinating: http://www.tredz.co.uk/game/getflash.htm
Ah yes, but it is a pseudonym, and Frankie took his mother's maiden name for the purposes of writing dark poetry she would not approve of. ;)
i SUPPOSE THERE IS A WAY AROUND EVERYTHING. sEE MY SIGGY.
To the smart: What is the logical reason for the above text to appear as it does?
You had the caps lock on and typed as if you didn'tQuote:

Do I get smart points then, in order to recover my status from the Shirley snafu?
:)
Gotta go, HG!
See you all later. :D
Ah, I hope to see you too.
Alright I just checked my mail this morinig and found this in the inbox. Now it's an amusing story, and I thought that I would share it with you all here. I am going to see if I can post it other places as well.

Subject: Teacher Arrested at JFK
>
>
>At New York's Kennedy airport today, an individual later discovered to be a public school teacher, was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a setsquare, a slide rule, and a calculator.
>
>At a morning press conference, Attorney General Gonzales said he believes the man is a member of the notorious al-gebra movement. He is being charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.
>
>Al-gebra is a fearsome cult," Gonzales said. "They desire average solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search of absolute value. They use secret code names like 'x' and 'y' and refer to themselves as 'unknow ns', but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country. As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, 'there are 3 sides to every triangle'."
>
>When asked to comment on the arrest, President Bush said, "If God had wanted us
>to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes"
I am seriously laughing! That is great!
I will most like be gone/quite busy in July, so I hope I will not be too missed.
You will be missed quite dreadfully, but we will look forward to your return.
I hope you will be gone/busy because you are doing something fun!
Yeah, but when RL calls, you have to go. I will still have some free time. I made a cherry crisp, and a cherry pie, which happens to be in the oven, today. The cherry crisp is yummy. :p
I agree - you will be missed. Hopefully you will stop in as often as possible.
You're the only one of you we have :D .
Ohhh . . I love fresh cherry crisp. Used to make it when we lived up north and had an orchard.
I know what you mean about RL. . . I'll be sporadic around here come August/September, as that is my busy time here at work.
Ummmmmmm what is RL?
What do you do for work?
I'm assuming "RL" is "real life". I am a labor consultant. Basically I help companies with seasonal need for employees, like landscaping and forestry, obtain certification and nonimmigrant work visas for foreign laborers. *sigh*
Wow, that must be the most interesting thing I have ever heard. Do you feel lucky to have such an engaging, unique, fulfulling occupation?Quote:

I'm very well, on holiday at the moment! Awhile?... It's been ages!
