I think another important consideration is whether or not she would be willing to relocate in the case that things do develop into a romantic relationship (first dependent on whether or not her lower extremities become human when dry). I'm not such a good swimmer.
-
There seems to be a lot of judging that creature before actually getting to know her.
I think that Mermaid racism is unkind. On the other hand many a hearty deck swabber has lost his life while oogling mermaids(serves them right perhaps, they shouldn't be looking at half naked ladies or mermaids that aren't theirs.)
But I digress. First a guy might be well advised to stand in a safe place and have a conversation with the lady. I'd check out her eyes to see if there were any evil glints. After that perhaps one could trust.....
the question I have is would you keep a wad of money you chanced upon by a bin next to a bank?
-
Depends if there were any people around.
We had somehow had the impression that a mermaid is a normal woman in that department so that wouldn't be a question. Perhaps we are too much used to estonian folklore that we are forgetting what the rest of the world believes.
So, here is another situation.
Imagine that you are living in a beautiful place in a countryside. The nature is wonderfully beautiful.
Then one morning you wake up to discover that it has turned into a small separate planet.(it's diameter is about a kilometer)You have enough food and water for a month, also you have electricity. It is summer.
After a small venture you find that there is a small link in one place where there is a link (like a rope hanging down) to Earth. You don't see what is below. Going down might be dangerous.
Would you go down?
-
I would stay in the first place as long as I could, not being much inclined to absolute solitude, but then eventually I think I would be compelled to climb down.
Same Q
-
Hmm... Earth sucks. But there are kitties on Earth. I'd probably go.
If someone offered you money to start a small business (the future of such a venture being inherently dubious), would you give up your current job and risk it, or play it safe and keep the life you have?
-
No, I will not give up my current job. (good one)
Same Question.
-
When you are disabled, yet have marketable skills, and you go to face another long day of boredoom (disability isn't a cakewalk) you would jump at the chance for someone to take the risk of investing in you! I certainly would!
Pass the question.
-
If I had a good idea and a direction I knew I wanted to take I would do it. But, I don't have any good business ideas so I'd stick with my current job.
If you were suddenly struck by a weird form of color blindness would you choose to see things in shades of gray or shades of pink?
-
I guess gray, pink would be too monochromatic. haha. Gray has more substance. I'm used to it, and pink would eventually cause migraines.
Interesting question, same one.
-
I think grey--people with color blindness are capable of seeing certain things than the color-sighted. Besides, if I saw only in pink, I'd never know which was the Barbie aisle at the toy store.
Same question, this is interesting.
-
Grey, I suppose...though pink would probably be interesting, too. But I'm sure grey would be more...natural. And more artistic.
Same q.
-
Grey definitely, because I think pink would be irritating...
same q. , it's a nice one :D
-
Yep, No doubt, I will choose Grey because it is not as much irritating as Pink can BE sometimes. (Although light pink is one of my favourite colours)
Would you like to read a book about politics in your free time?
-
Do the politics have to be current? I'd be more likely to enjoy it if they weren't. My answer though is:
I guess. I have. Not my first choice to be sure.
Does your everyday conversation follow politically correct guidelines? Would you be appalled if someone wasn't always PC?
-
Erm.. no. And it doesn't bother if other people don't.
Same question. Too lazy to think of another.
