Is architecture one of the most permanent forms of art?
Nothing is permanent. And I think that literature would approach permanence more so than architecture. Because I have seen buildings destroyed in war, or have come back to a city utterlly devastated after a war.
What is your favorite architectural achievement? (building, monument, etc)
**What if the said building as a library...like in Alexandria...:)**
The Sphinx...and I think that it is the oldest (my opinion)
I know precious little about architecture, but Wright's 'Falling Waters' was the most beautiful structure that I've ever been to.
