Maybe, it occurs to me that funerals are really for the grieving rather than the dead.
If you saw a waiter/cook do something gross (spit in maybe) to someone's food would you say something? Just for fun let's say the 'someone' is a person you don't like.
Maybe back when I was an evil child I wouldn't have done anything, but I would now. If someone does such a thing it may not have been the first time. I don't think anyone would want someone working in their restaurant who behaved like that.
