Hi all!
Hi RJ. You know I'v been calling you piglet. I've never asked if that is ok. Do you mind?
Well, I do not mind a bit! It is a nice nickname :D How are things in NY?
Hot humid and thunderstorms for the last couple of days. Not normal for June. More like August. Thanks. How's Minnesota? Do you live in Minneapolis? I like Minneapolis. It's nice clean city with lots of culture. I hate the winter there though.
Oh, it's the summer there that gets me, the humidity is horrendous. I suppose that's what you get when you have a state with 10,000 lakes. ;)Quote:

Oh yes! The mosquitoes! I had almost forgotten about them. A couple summers ago, I met up with a few people in Minneapolis that I had met on a LOTR forum and they were from Georgia and all they did was complain about the heat and humidity and I kept pointing out, "But you're from Georgia!". They insisted it didn't get that bad down there but I still find that hard to believe. :rolleyes:Quote:

Have windows open all night so the house can cool down. ;) Don't venture out expect into the open without bug spray after 7 or so. Hot wind. The farmers have just been haying. BTW, there are actually 20,000 lakes here, but that's not the nickname. Did you know that Minnesota has more coastline than Florida and California together?
Yes, but some of those lakes are about the size of my bathtub. I remember driving to the area around Brainard and being amazed what constitutes a lake there and how little volume there needs to be in order for a body of water to be named. ;) But, coming from a state with about 2 normal sized lakes, I'm in no position to mock anyone. ;)Quote:

Hi all! How is it going?
It balzing hot here but other then that all is pretty good..
And you?
Fine, sort of.
I wrote a 3 hour exam that I finished in 1 hour & so I just sat there twiddling my thumbs for 2 hours! I can't think of anything better to do than to sit in a freezing cold hall for 2hrs with zip to do but twiddle my thumbs  !!!
Oh....
Bummer!
...
Tell me about it!!!
See you again soon guys, I've got to go because I have another exam to learn for !!!  :bawling: :brickwall :eek2:
You're not allowed to leave if you finish early? I am glad I can, I always am the first to finish, and the first to leave, except for the people that turn up and instantly hand it in, they leave after half an hour, which is the minimum time you have to be present.
Aren't those the people who don't know the answers, so they don't even try?
That they are, It often amazes me how some people don't even try, even if you haven't studied, it still pays to at least look at the questions, see what you know and don't know :)
Then again, I have a nack for not showing up at all
It's those people who finish right away. You can tell who they are. YOU better not be one of them....
