The last time that I called in "sick" under false pretenses was to go on a 30 mile bike ride with a buddy of mine. And, I did it because it was a beautiful summer day, warm and inviting; it was a day that said, "Comedian, it would be downright unfair of work to pull you in a lovely day such as this. I command you to spread righteous virtue upon that bike path with your friend!"
What else could I do? When the forces of nature herself call, you listen.
