I would probablygo out with myfriends, pending on whatthey were doing. If they were doinging something normal and fun...then no doubt. However, if I was engrossed in a good book, I would possibly stay home.

Nah, I wouldn't give up this life.
Assume that you had done something extremely horrible in your life, and kept a dark secret for 10 years, a dark secret that might make everyone hate you (or so you believe), and in those year(s) you live miserably, secluded, and everybody, due to your deep dark secret (misunderstanding), start to leave. Then in a dark cruel day everyone finds out your secret, are amazed by it, and pity you. An angel then comes down from heaven, and tells you that he can not reverse time, but he can send you to a parallel universe where it is still 10 years ago. All those 6 years of misery, pain, and agony to you (once sent to the universe) will just be a dream, and in that way you'll have a second chance to prevent yourself from living years of pain, nobody will leave you, you never had the secret, you'll live together with everyone else. As said though, this is not traveling back in time, in order to get your second chance you have to leave the world you live in, everybody in the new world will be the same (as they were 10 years ago), but once you leave you can never come back, according to the angel, the explanation as to why you disappeared would be because you died, so to them, once you leave, you're dead (along with that, they'll forget that you ever left, and your secret). They completely understand the situation, and if you need to go they can accept it. Will you go to the new world, and everything would just be a horrible dream, or will you remain in this world?
Remain in this world, probably--I always said that I wanted to live without shame, and die without regrets. Nothing teaches like experience; just ask any RPG gamer.

Hmm... I can be a big coward sometimes, so if the secret was very embarrassing or upsetting, I might be tempted to run away. But if the people who knew me would think that I'd died, that would be far worse. I don't think I could do that to people I love (it's been my main reason for not harming myself in the past). Also, if the parallel universe was just like this world, would I have a double there? Would she have a mustache?

I'd attempt it. Fortunately my best friend is very cool and composed, so it hasn't come up. But there's this nearly-imperceptible thing she does with her face that lets me know when I'm being a fool, and it's really impressive. Sometimes I pay attention to her, usually not. :p
