i love my new alarm clock!! (on my calculator.) :)
do you have one of those ti-89 titaniums?
no, an HP 48G, but will google to check out the one you just mentioned.
it was given to me by a friend, but without the instructions. i've had to spend quite some time just familiarizing myself with it (even simple addition is tricky), and it took a while to figure out that the "stupid" machine's method of working, which i'd been discounting, is the only way that it doeswork... some of it's rather a bear, but also lots of fun.
yeah, graphing calculators can have a learning curve sometimes... but once you figure one out, it is heaven...
i love my calculator... her name is estella, yeah, just like Pip's estella... she's my *creepy Golem voice* prreeeecious
:D! cool! i love that you name'd her -
oof must sleep.
i'll let my friend add, multiply,...etc etc.. and even differentiate with her, if they treat her right... but integration's off limits, folks...she only does that for ME...
(joking...of course)
ahhh, reminds me of my calculator in college. I named her "big momma". She past away last year.
I would love to get a new one, but sadly no one asks me to differentiate or integrate any more.
Ahh, I be havin a "calcy 86" my old calc, from highschool, what good days we shared together. (tis actually a Ti-86, but I named her, and got a custom case design for her two, she now be havin a punisher makeover)
We have got two calculators. One is a real calculator. The other one we got when we went on an olympiade in Finland in the ninth grade. It seems like a normal calculator, but some things of it are real freaky. You can get at least seven types of errors there (SYNTAX ERROR, DIVIDE BY 0 ERROR, DATA ERROR, DOMAIN ERROR, OP ERROR, OVERFLOW ERROR , INTEGRATE ERROR) There is also no factorial. Haven't found out either how to change radians to degrees and vice versa. There was a small writing on the top of the calculator which read "Texas instruments" So We didn't call it a call it a calculator for it wasn't one; we called it a Texas Instrument.
Unfortunately We lost the calculator and have now only the Texas instrument
ahh but texas instruments, are the best in the world!!
isn't it unfair how some people have all the luck in the world? my dad, poker player... was the big winner a couple a' nights ago and then played again last night, last hand, he was even playing seven card stud (some up some down cards) and high low (hig, normal poker and the lowest hand possible splits the pot) and he had two wild to begin, had the lowest possible hand ever showing, an ace and on the final card had two more wilds... so total, the best and worst possible hand... one the whole pot of course which was huge...
only thing is, now the poeple he play with might not let him play with him again...
wish i had his luck in poker, I'd be rich,
i really like Mario's song "Let Me Love You" but it's been running through my head for so long that today i started "hearing" instead of "fist full of diamonds" "fish for the diamonds."
and this isn't a sense of someone fishing for diamonds, but rather a picture of the little aquatic guys!
I've got calculator but I don't have a name for im yet...I've got it, Jay.
LOL...Jay
I wanted to give my fish the name Piggy, coz it eats alot like a pig..but my dearest told me to give it the name "Nemo''..So unspecial I know...
Texas Instruments ARE the best in the world...
that's what TI in TI-89 stand for.
My beautiful Estella.
