My biggest life-altering moment? So far?
The day my Dad chose to keep my brother over my stepmother (Well, of course he did!!). It reshaped our whole family. It doesn't feel that much life-altering now, but ... it was at the time.
Who was your best friend growing up (what were they like)?
My best friend then, is my best friend today, though we have lived on seperate continents for 10 years. She is a brainy, quirky, awkward, hilarious, extrovert, and I love her to death do us part.

Maybe 1000. I'm not sure. I'm an English professor, so I have a ton in my office, most of which are sent to me from publishers. And if you count comics. . . . oh boy the number would go up significantly. I'm a total fanboy.
