Good question. I can think of several students of mine who are single-moms (with more than one kid) work a full time job, take a full coarse load, and NEVER make an excuse for absences, late work, etc. . . . I'd give the dough to one of them. . . . the most respectable people I know.Quote:

Several: Thoreau, Thomas Wolf (the good one, the one who wrote Look Homeward, Angel), Edward Abbey, Willa Cather, Barry Lopez. Poets: Anne Bradstreet, Emily Dickinson, Edward Hirsch. Comics creators: Art Speigleman, Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Craig Thompson. . .

There's Asimov, who made me realize I really like Sci-fi a lot, and thus made me see so many sci-fi movies. :D
Then there is Neil Gaiman, who I found takes a lot after me when I started reading some of his Novels (Thanks Night! Best gift ever! It's in an AWESOME spot! :))
A few philosophers, won't name them all, but they helped shape my vision of the world as it is now.
And a group of people that are the writers of a certain big book that is in part helped me realize that a certain something is the biggest load of nonsense and mass delusion ever. YAY! :banana:
