Well, I think it really depends whether you are talking about taking them to see it at the movies or just watching it at your home.I think if one was wishing to watch it on the giant screen then they would be disappointed that they missed it, as they will never get to see it like that again. But if it is only on DVD, then I would suggest to get them to read the wonderful books first, then say "Now we can compare it, and watch the film together."
If a friend gave you a pet( any animal) as a present, and you knew you could probably not keep it, would you return the gift and risk disappointing them?
-
It might inspire them to go and read it. But it might not. Would it take something away? It depends on the movie. Hard to say. Sorry for being wishy-washy.
Same question.

Oops.
Now to Aurora's question. (Somebody I bet will beat me to that one too.) Yes, a pet is a big responsibility. It should not be given willy nilly.
Same question.

Err...what happened to my question? Here's the one I added:
If a friend gave you a pet( any animal) as a present, and you knew you could probably not keep it, would you return the gift and risk disappointing them?
-
Okay, a whole minute has gone by, I think it's safe to reply.
Definitely give the pet back. It wouldn't be fair to the animal to keep it if it wasn't loved.
Would like to go on a month long vacation by yourself?
-
Ah bleh, I posted to late, it takes me a while to think up a question. Simply not that great at thinking up questions
Yes. If I were to keep the pet, it would be even more disappointing for them to see that I didn't take good care of it, to see that I didn't take good care of the gift and that I mistreated it. So I would just be honest and say I can't do it... even if I disappointed them, but I'm sure that's what they would prefer.
To answer the new question, no... what's the point if there's no one to enjoy it with?
Having only one opportunity to travel through time, would you go back to the past to change something wrong you did and risk what effects it could have on the future, or would you stay in the present and leave everything how it is?
-
Great question!
I would try to think it through. I would try to pick an innocuous mistake. But I think my answer would be yes.
Edit: Same question. Too good a question to leave for only one person.
-
I would just like to remove the fact that I have failed my maths exam. SO I will go back to re-give it.
(A Very Good Question)
So Same Question.
-
Pensive, are you just too good, or too young to have done anything that you'd like to change???? Cute.
I'd love to go back and change some things. Or someone said elsewhere on this thread "I'd like to go back and give myself some advice."
Same Q

I'd like to go back two years in the past.....
Same Q
-
I'd like to go a couple of months into the past to prevent something from happening. It's not that serious so I'm certain it wouldn't affect the future much. Or would it? well... I would be willing to risk it.
If you had one opportunity, and one opportunity only, to get the thing you desire the most in exchange for losing your most important trait(not a physical trait though, an emotional one [like kindness, courage, etc.]), would you do it?
-
Never. I'm me simply because I'm me, desires, emotions, and all.
Same question!
-
No no. To be such a fool, I'm not in it.
Would you watch a movie before reading the book? Like "The World of Narnia." I'm undesided.
-
Depends on the feedback. If you hear the movie sucks, watch that first (most negative criticism tends to come from comparision to the book). Otherwise, I'd go for the book first.
Same question!

Hey, Adilyoussef, look at the top of this page, It's my question too!
