Is it hot in Southern California?
Depends on where you go. Coastal towns etc, not really. But I live in the low desert and it is typically quite hot here. Though the past couple of days its been cool enough to wear a sweater (like in the 70s-80s). Nice, but probably short lived. Typical summer temps are well above 100. Usually more like 110 and up. I remember playing outside one day as a kid and finding out it was a record hot tempurature day...I think it was 128 that day.
What natural occurance do you most fear? (i.e fire, earthquake, tsunami etc)
Drought scares me the most. But if you mean what is the most physically intimidating, I'd have to say tornadoes because that is the only natural disaster that ever really happens where I live.
Would you ever live near an active volcano?
Where do you live? Tornadoes seem terrifying! All I know is earthquakes and that's not so bad nowadays
I would never live near an active volcano. Though I wouldn't mind visiting in an area where there were active volcanoes (like different spots in Hawaii...or near Mt. Vesuvius..is that still active??)
Has anyone ever read "The Last Days of Pompeii"?
Tornadoes aren't all that much of a threat either. We get like one big one in this area every 15 years or so(I'm told anyway, I haven't witnessed any big tornadoes in my life). I live in western PA, and sometimes in eastern Ohio.
Someone has, I'm sure, not I.Quote:

Have you ever eaten an entire pizza yourself?

What is the longest book you've ever read?
Kant's Critique of Pure Reason was longer than most books with a higher page count.
In your opinion can everything be reduced to math?
No way. Math is too limited. The only thing that can boil down to math is money and population.
When did you last go swimming?
last year
where was the last place you went swimming?
In the pool at my grandma's condo.
If you could only ever visit one place outside of your hometown, where would you go?
I think Budapest or Debrecen.
Same question.
Svalbard.
If you could only drink one kind of beer for the rest of your life, what would that beer be?
Guinness or Sam Adams
If you could only have one companion for the rest of your life who would it be? (could be famous person, historical figure, or someone you know in real life)
I wouldn't want to subject anyone else to only being around me for the rest of my life, and I probably wouldn't like it very much either. So, I pick as my companion my good friend Pen A. Paper.
If you could meet one historical figure, who would it be?
