Virgil--Thanks for letting me know Elizabeth's just been busy. I seemed to recall her mentioning having health problems and I was concerned that she is O.K.
Pensive--I'm sorry, I wouldn't have brought it up this way but I thought it was common knowledge that Rachel has been banned from here. You can see that her name is gone from the members list. Last time I was in touch with her she expressed wishes that everybody not make too big a deal about it or be too sad, but just to say she misses everyone and sends you all her love.
About banning.. you've got to realise that you do not always see the whole picture here. The decision to ban someone is *not* taken lightly, but ultimately done to maintain the integrity and best possible atmosphere for as many as possible at this site.
Awww I didn't know Rachel was gone!! She was the sweetest person and always so loving to all of us here. I am sure she has found a spot in all our hearts as she has found in mine.

Wow, I feel so incredibly stupid. I have been wondering for ages where Rachel and Mililail were...and now I know. . I guess I got caught up in my own stuff and missed the departure of two very kind people.
Whatever the reasons for their leaving, I will still miss them.
They didn't leave, they were banned for contravening the forum rules.

Well, I am sorry I bumped the topic up but I honestly was unaware that some folks had been banned. I really can be very oblivious. :(
Well there's nothing wrong with missing people or wondering where they are.
But people do get banned simply because they don't follow the rules, nothing more to it. Matters that go on behind the scenes are kept private between the mods and the specific people involved.
Rachel was banned for not following the rules, and we did give her a huge benefit to as a normal person would have been banned far sooner for far less.
You do give warnings, before banning someone, maybe what they did was unintentional. They are not banned at their first mistake? Are they given another chance?
Everyone give it a rest already, what's done is done, I'm sure everyone is familiar with the old saying associated with a situation like this.
But in case you don't: It's no use flogging a dead horse!
I spoke with amuse a few days ago, and she has kept very pre-occupied with school lately (taking some summer courses, plus preparing for autumn courses). She remains very well - merely busy, and intends on visiting with more time. :DQuote:
