I am evidently not hitting on all cylinders, little brother. You are quite correct. I have had two lies. I'll edit. (head bows in shame....)

S'all right, brother. No harm, no foul, and 'tis not a huge deal.
Anyone heard from Elizabeth lately? I'm starting to worry again...
No, I haven't heard a word, and as always, I share your worries. They say no news is good news, but it can be horrible on those who worry about others.
I have a driver's license.
I am legally blind.
I am epileptic.
Ah ha! I tricked you. Number 2 is the lie. My medication manages my epilepsy just well enough that the DMV lets me keep my license.
http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/spezial/Fool/appl.gif Well, as I said, I barely kept my own. Medicine now controls my illness very well, but occassionaly, they cross my medicine, which must be constantly changed and updated, with something it will not mix with, an I will have a seizure. Fortunately, since most of my medicine is taken at bedtime, I've never been driving, but it still isn't fun! :( Trips to more tests, new adjustments, or worst of all, mental ward for a week or so.
You have won this round! :) Try again? :)
Can I go, Pen?
1. I hate fluff pieces, even though I once won a contest with one.
2. I have a celebrity crush on Johnny Depp.
3. I one broke my arm and didn't discover the break until the next day when I fell on it again.
Good luck!
Hmmm... well, to me, one and two appear to be mutually exclusive, unless you're irritated with yourself for having a celebrity crush. People who love fluff may or may not be prone to celebrity crushes, but people who hate fluff are usually too down-to-earth/cynical for something so unrealistic. Not to mention that three is so crazy, it's gotta be true.
So... which, one or two? I'm gonna go for two. Since 47% of the film-watching female population have a crush on Johnny Depp, it would be a plausible pick for a lie.
Also: Pendragon, your clapping hands smilie is downright creepy. *shudders*
It is a creepy smiley, like two Things meeting... And you're right :p . I don't have any celebrity crushes, and #3 happened when I was seven. It isn't that bizarre, is it? And I still won't tell what the fluff piece was, or any details of it, but it did happen. Kudos. I have to learn to lie better... ~pout~ Ah, well...I'll get the hang of it later... Who's next?
And I'm not that cynical, am I?
Hahaha... I'm sure not. You probably fall on the down-to-earth side of the line. But the arm break thing is pretty bizarre. :p
I'll go!
I have a Welsh Corgi.
My new cell phone was stolen last month.
I worked on the local Republican campaign committee this fall.
Come now, Caroline...wait for more than one guess before answering! :p
I can't remember if I read number two...I'm going to guess number one.
Number three.
Number 2 is a lie.
I'll also go with #2 -- as it is a 'new' cellphone stolen 'last' month......
Shut up, Robin! And 2. I think it sounded too irate at the event to not be real.
Ouch, y'all! Robin was right. I don't have a Welsh Corgi, but I do have a dachshund named Sam, oo iz my bebeh yesh ee iz awwwwww.....
I actually got my very first cell phone a couple weeks into my first semester at college, which makes it pretty dadgum new, and it was stolen the day before Thanksgiving break. It was by a little kid, too! His mom called us up later saying he had "found" a phone (a witness saw him pick it up and not turn it in at the library desk, though he told the kids he was with he would, and walk out with it very discreetly), but we haven't heard anything else about that. I'm happy to say, though, that I did get an insurance-against-theft replacement the selfsame night. ^_^
Who's next?
Hee. You obviously haven't seen the laughing skull? http://www.industreal.spb.ru/smiles/scull.gifQuote:

ONLY THE SHADOW KNOWS!
Oooooo...how I wish I am your shadow!
Right, but I'll try being one..
Number 1's a lie. Simply because I thought numbers 2 and 3 are true. And why number 2? Because you have so many friends it's impossible for you to have very close-knit ones! ;)
Number one seems like a lie, but I don't want number 2 to be true! :(
I was actually hoping Pensy would ring in here, as she has witnessed the Pen Sonnet Writing in progress, and knows number one to be false. I write the sonnets in Microsoft Word which I kept handy on my desktop only to catch my dyslexic spelling. They go up almost as fast as they are written.
Number three is also true. In the back of the Brain Teaser’s thread somewhere is a Shadow short called "The Three Heirs". It has two shortcut clues to the crook, one which deals with Jack the Ripper, and is not included in all books on the Ripper, showing my fascination with unsolved crime.
Which brings us to number two. Sadly, it's true. I have some acquaintances, but none I can talk to on a daily basis or share my life like I can here, or be accepted for me and me alone. The Forum is my home away from home, and you are my true and only friends. God bless every one of you! :) :thumbs_up
Ill give it a try :) But with some more random , very pointless facts, to keep y'all guessing :p
1. My favorite type of pen is a gel pen
2. I have never worn a belt
3.I collect stickers
Thanks for the vote of confidence Pensy, but number 2 is the lie. Your profile picture clearly shows you wearing a white belt Drama, dear. ;)
Aww, and I wanted to see the "I am fourteen" discovered as a lie. I see you're still keeping covered :D.
I don't know why, but your profile picture slightly scares me. Please be safe !!!
....didnt you guys know it is not really me in my profile pic? i thought you all were joking before! uh-oh. Sorry to mislead. The woman is the pic is too pretty to be me :) Number one is the lie! My favorite Pen is Pendragon :D
Oh, cookie! Thank you sincerely for thinking i am not fourteen. But as far as i know i am...unless my parents lied and i went back a few years. I have to go check this out....:p
So Pensy guessed right! - By the way, Pensive, not being on the forums much I do believe I missed your birthday thread. Well, a very happy belated birthday to you! ;)Quote:
Number one is the lie! My favorite Pen is Pendragon...
Thank you! :) It is nice seeing you back Miss Darcy! :D
Okay, here we go. It is a really easy one I guess, can't think of anything better.
1. I hated Lady Chatterley's Lover when I read it.
2. Talkative little children really annoy me!
3. I like all the colours in the world equally. (green, blue, yellow, etc..)
hmmm...im guessing 2 is the lie? I looked up that book in number 1 and it just didnt seem you pensive...
It has to be three!
I think 2 is a lie....
I say two, as Pensive is not so silent (5,662 posts) and not so old (mid-teens). Unless she annoys herself...?
So you were right, Pensy, just as you said. I don't know what to say, Drama!
But now on this one, three is the lie, as I seem to recall you telling me your favorite color was green when I made your paperdoll... But the Good Lord knows I've been wrong before! http://www.invision.smileyville.net/...s/lnr (17).gif
Aww im sorry Pen! Its all my fault....i just didnt realize you guys thought it was really me:( It was very clever of you to remember that though! :thumbs_up :D You must be a brilliant crime solver! If i was ever faced with a mystery there's only one Dragon i'd ring up;)
I'm going for two. Though it could easily be a trick...*narrows eyes*
Good to see you again, too, Pensive. :)
2 2 2??.........
The first one is a truth. I really disliked the book when I read it.
The third one is also a truth. A few weeks ago, sky blue and green were my favourite colours, but then due to some reason, I realized that the world would look really boring all in green and blue. I have started to admire all colours equally now. :)
The second one, surely, is a lie. I love to hear out little children, they talk just so cute. It can't be a truth. :p
Some guesses were correct....:)
