Yes, it bothers me when they fly right by you on the road with no sirens or lights flashing. I also saw a cop talking on a cell-phone one day; he wasn't driving great, either.
Would you check out a book from the library that you have been wanting to read when you know you don't have the time and should be reading something for school?
-
No. I try not to do that, anyway. I always feel awfully guilty, as though since I'm so terribly excited to read this book, surely someone else is pining for the same book, and cursing me for obstructing their joy. (I realize that I live in a place where nobody reads, but I like to pretend that I'm preventing someone's joy, that my reading choices have relevance.)
Same question. That's good.
-
Have. Guilty as charged, your Honor!
Same question...
-
Try not to...but I have....
Would you do something on the spur of the moment?? For no reason at all??
-
No, there's always a reason even if you're not entirely sure what it is.
Would you let a friend make a fatal mistake, if you could prevent it?
-
I will do all I can to prevent it.
Will you do something if said by a stranger or a total new acquaintence (sp?) if it sounds appealing to you?
-
I would need a better reason than "sounds appealing." Ted Bundy could and DID make himself sound appealing to a lot of young women who ended up dead...
Same question...
-
Why not, although it will depend on the request (as Pen mentioned)
This is a question from real life that I just don't understand..
If you went on a swamp tour and the guide fished out a baby alligator(it was pretty small about 12 in(30 cm) )only, Would you hold the alligator given the opportunity?
-
12 inches...are you sure...crickee, sure wood....
-
Would you take as much stuff as possible if a bookstore had an ad saying "Take all that you can carry for only $15"? Or would you take just the books you want and leave?
-
I would only take the books I want and leave the rest. Why take as much as I can when I know I'm not going to read it.
Would you sky dive with your pet dog?
-
No, I would and have skydived but I would leave my dog at home, she wouldn't know what was going on and I wouldn't want to frighten her.
Would you skydive without your dog?
-
No way. My dog would have to sky dive with me. Time on earth is so short for him
Would you sky dive with a friends dog?
-
Nope. I won't skydive with any animal.
Would you eat a bug for ten dollars?
-
ok. what type of bug? a peanut worm
http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...iesa/a5751.jpg
or an ant?
same question.
-
Not that bug! Shoooooo!
Would you eat that bug for $100,000,000.00???
-
Not only would I gladly eat that bug, but I would snack on your head for that type of money.:D
Would you dare a darer
-
Double dog dare you! So you have to ask yourself a question. Do I feel lucky? Do you? http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l1.../TheShadow.jpg
-
No. Nope. I dare not say yes.
would you sleep in a haunted house by yourself?
-
probably not, that kind of stuff creeps me out.
Would you live in a tree house if it had all the amenities?
-
-
absolutely....sounds like fun 2 me
would you walk thru death valley desert if there was an unknown gift at the end?
-
yeppers.
Would you throw out your TV for a year just for the heck of it?
-
I've TRIED, but my partner won't let me.
Would you get a tattoo of your BF/GF/Husband/Wife's name if they asked you to?
-
Heck No. I made it past my early 20's without getting a tattoo no reason the start now. Besides I think that once you tattoo someones name it's a set up for failure - one of those great cosmic jokes.
Would you get you children's names tattooed if they asked?
-
Were I to ever have children; I'd probably have their names tattooed upon me before they even got home from the hospital.
Would you be able to "pull the plug" on a loved one if you know it was what THEY would have wanted?
-
I don't know. I have no idea. I would like to say "yes"...but I just don't know.
Same question
-
You know, I would love to say truthfully that I would have the courage to do so, because I hope that if I am ever in that shape, someone has the courage to do it for me, but I can't say. I've never faced the decision. To anyone that has and has pulled the plug, I tell you from my heart, that if you know that was their wish, then you did not murder them, you allowed them to die in peace. My own mother has a no resusitation clause, and it will be carried out. She wishes to be cremated, which my sister is kicking against, but my brother and I are united-- mom's wishes will be carried out. It's a tough call. I hope I never have to make it, but if I do, may God give me strength and courage to do what they wish.
Same question.
-
I would.
Would you kill someone if you were granted not to be prosecuted?
-
Absolutely not. To take someone's life would feel too fundamentally wrong - I wouldn't need the State to punish me, I would punish myself.
Would you do/say something you didn't believe in just to impress a friend?
-
Not anymore --- geez I wish I could go back to my youth and undo all the things I said or did just to impress or just not to be ostracized
Would you stay married just because you were used to the routine you were in with your current spouse, even if you were bored out of your mind?
-
Definately not, if there's no love there's no point. In the past I used to wish my parents were still together but I grew up and realised the only important thing in any relationship is love, when it becomes a routine it is a waste of time (of course this line of thinking could also explain why the longest relationship I have been in lasted a total of about 7 months)
Same Q
-
Probably. It sounds to me as if passion is being confused for love in this question. Passion comes and goes (and more often than not comes back again)... boredom is no reason to abandon the promises made during marriage. It goes "till death do us part" not "till it's no longer fun & exciting". That's why it's called a commitment. If you're bored, do something to liven things up. A real relationship is based on mutual respect, trust, support, compassion, etc...... THAT'S love. Boredom may be a test of love; but it's a test that can be easily passed.
All of the above is my humble opinion..... It's not my place here to preach.
Same question.
-
I'm agreeing with Bib here, if it's just a case of boredom then that's no reason to end a marriage, however if there were other contributing factors then you might have a case.
If you could have dinner with a movie star or a sports hero which would you choose?
-
movie star, and discuss technical acting stuff. Stagecraft, and all that behind-the-scenes stuff is pretty cool. Besides, I wouldn't have anything in common with a sports hero, probably.
Would you invite an old pal on a "just friends" date, if you haven't talked in a long time?
-
No, I wouldn't...sometimes almost always I am a bit too proud about these things...
Would you forgive your old friend and agree to have the same friendship u did years ago with him/her, even though they did something unforgivable to you at the time? (hope I was clear on this one :S)
-
No I don't think it's possible to have the same friendship, there's a trust factor now.
If you didn't like the person your best friend was dating would you tell them if they asked your opinion?
-
Not directly but I know I would not lie her/him.
Same q.
-
Yes I would tell my friend that I didn't like who she was dating --- in fact, I have been asked and I told her exactly what I thought of him. And they dated for years and he cheated on her and ended up in jail. If you ever meet someone and you get a funny feeling about that person, trust your instinct. I have had that feeling four times and each time I have been right on. And if you're wrong it's better to be safe than sorry!
Would you give a dying woman a cigarette if she asked for it?
-
Yes I think I would, because I hate the feeling you have after someone dies and you haven't fulfilled their last wish.
If someone you know tells you not to do something/or go somewhere because they don't feel good about it, would you listen to that person?
