I don't believe in Fate. If you mean purpose, yes, I do, but not fate. You have a choice to make through your life. You can't live it all to fate. One would be throwing away all the responsibilities of life if you believed that fate caused you to do something, whether good or evil.
What is your image of an ideal spouse?
An ideal spouse? Hmmm, interesting question. An ideal spouse sounds slightly utopian, as even seemingly petty faults seem to bring good. A few adjectives/descriptions that describe a semi-ideal spouse: intelligent, wise, health-conscious, attractive, modest, not afraid of her faults, unique, artistic (in some way), sarcastic, adventurous, and casual.
To the person below me: same question. ;)
I have to agree with mono, the ideal spouse would be, for me, very close to what he has described. Except the sarcasm, replace that with a healty dose of humor, and all will be fine.
PBM, so what is love to you?
Love to me is when you can see beyond what your eyes show you. When no one hits, verbally, or sexually abuses you. When you still hold hands after 63 1/2 years of marriage that is love to me.

I don't think so.... at least I'm not very sure if that is such a thing.... you may fall in love with the LOOKS of a person, but until you get to KNOW the person, you can't fall in love with HIM/HER cause you don't even know her/him!!!

Not really although the question I would ask is "Do you always tell the truth?" if they say yes they are lying and thhus not a hypocrite by your defintion but one by mine.

When I really loose my temper I tend to snap a few pencils. Then run a few miles to cool down. Taking time to change clothes, that is what the pencils are for.
I am known to really lash out at people who severely anger me. But it is very rare for me to be so angry with someone, as I usually don't care. More often I get angry with myself.
What makes you really angry?
I don't get angry easily, but what really makes me angry is when I find out that someone (which I care about) is lying to me.
How do you think you would react if you were a passenger on a hijacked airplane?
Besides feeling incredibly shocked and frightened, I would try to find some contact with ground below (cell phone, laptop computer, CB radio) to evacuate any areas in our way, in case of a crash, but I would not try to crash the plane intentionally, as others did on a tragic day within recent years.

i dont know what you mean by mode but if you mean mood im pretty slow but not grumpy i am usually quite amiable in the morning to be grumpy something needs to have gone seriously wrong for me.

Good question - really putting me into thinking. I would like to think that the world, according to any living thing, one could define as its origin, as it seems correct to say, whether one believes in evolution or creation - the origin, thriving center, and home.
Now, if only, we could establish peace on this thriving center. :rolleyes:

Quite a few. I mean, once it's on there's no point in turning it off really, even if you have to go to work or whatever. Besides, consumption of electricity stimulates the economy.

To the person below me: this pertains to another question I asked in another thread, but while feeling ill, do you usually use Eastern (herbs, acupuncture, chiropractic care, reiki, yoga, tai chi) or Western (antibiotics, prescriptions, surgery) medicines and practice?
Herbs are Eastern? Funny thing, we have always thought of herbs as, well, universal.
We usually use some pills (usually painkillers) and herb teas. Though when we are more badly sick, we use antibiotics and stuff like that too or what the doctor tells us to.

if i have a sore throat then i use herb tea but if i am really sick i use pills like painkillers, allergy medicine etc
