Where in Washington is that giant eraser? I don't remember seeing it. I was last there in September and I saw the new WWII memorial. They really did a nice job.
Here it is. It fits right in with the rest of the Mall as if it was always there.

The eraser is in the sculpture garden at the National Gallery. The WWII memorial looks really impressive and well done. I'll have to see it someday.
